Transaction occurred 3/8/2023 for $37.45. I just want a refund for a service I paid for in advance of receipt in good faith that I would get what I paid for. The owner refused to just void my transaction and refund my money despite the multiple issues encountered here since January 8th. I was offered more services but I have don't feel safe using any services from this owner any longer. I've also filed a formal complaint with the State of Ohio Cosmetology and Barber Board using the same document attached to this submission.Business response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our records reflect she received a spray tan. She told us at the time of the session that it didn't work. I told her she was right, and that I would fix the machine. She asked for a refund, I explained that we don't offer refunds, we would offer her another session though. She said, no she wanted a bottle of lotion. I explained that we don't exchange a service for a product. Then I offered her two tanning sessions; one for the service that didn't work, and one for the inconvenience. She declined. Our offer is still available to her, she should contact me directly to schedule. We have many happy customers, and are confident that she too will be happy with the service.Customer response

This is only one of multiple instances where I've tried to use this business at multiple sites and equipment isn't functioning properly. I've paid for packages for a certain level but had to use a lesser level for the same reason. This was the last straw. All I want is my money back for a purchase I made but did not receive the service I paid for in good faith and in advance. He insists I use another service or inconvenience myself AGAIN to come back when he "has things fixed". Who knows when that might actually happen. I fear his methods for maintenance and repair of equipment causes concern. I do not feel safe there. I suggested a lotion only as a means to somehow make me whole. He is not willing to do that. Horrible practices and quite shameful. He will also tout that he was never notified which is an overt lie and he knows it. His employees have to contact him incessantly because they are unable or don't feel comfortable enough to troubleshoot issues they encounter daily. I was present when they spoke to him and I know they gave him my name more than once. What a joke.
