I purchased a new Toyota Camary April 29, 2024. When I took the car for a test drive, I noticed there was not a remote start button on the key fob. I asked and was told remote start is now a part of the FREE app. Okay, fine. While filling out the paperwork, the gentlemen behind the desk were telling me if I needed any help navigating the app just stop in and they would gladly assist. Approximately a week ago, I get an alert on the app telling me I now have to pay for remote connect and safety connect. They are not free like I was told. Had I known this, I would not have purchased this vehicle. I should not have to pay to remote start my car. I know salesmen lie. That is a given. This is absurd. Had I not asked, that would be understandable. BUT I DID. SVG needs to be held accountable. Needless to say I am very disappointed.
