During the year 2022 and early 2023 I purchased numerous antiques/reproduction pieces from Early Country Antiques, owner is **** ******. I paid for my items promptly as well as for the shipping costs of said items. The business owner ****, is extremely slow in shipping out items, which I knew from past experience but in early 2023 she had numerous problems with family, her health and so on. However, she continued to sell items and accept money from me and others. She has a brick and mortar store, but sells a lot through her Facebook page. In March of 2023 she shipped two packages out through UPS. I received one of the two packages but not the other. I requested the tracking number, people she stated she spoke to at UPS and she also stated she filed a claim on the package, so I should not worry as it was fulled insured. There was approximately 1700. dollars in valued items in the box. I requested and requested and requested this information. I have ALL messages of our correspondence where she stated the information was at store, oh, I will get it to you, etc. Well in October of 2023 she finally provided me with the shipping information from UPS, but now UPS is stating it never had a claim placed on the package and because she waited over 6-month to mention the package was missing, they are no longer liable. **** has stated she tried to work with me, but that is so untrue. I was patient with her, maybe to much, as I considered her a friend and felt bad for all she was going through. Well the PROOF she sent shows the weight of the two packages one weighed 4 pounds the other 5 pounds. TEN items, some large in nature made of wood could not weigh 5 pounds. She is now saying I am bullying her as I keep asking for proof and I threatened her. She has blocked me from Facebook so I cannot make contact that way and she is stating her lawyer will be sending me a letter, which I have yet to receive nor do I know what it will contain. **** also thanked me for my patience throughout this ordeal
