  ****, who also goes by Air Duct King, LLC (###-###-####) and his apparently fake company is a scammer and total fraud. I was robbed $800 cash for less than an hour worth of work. I made the mistake not be home to inspect the work after he was done. The $800 was supposed to cover all of the returns, both main lines, Cold box and furnace, and sanitation. When I arrived, I could not believe that I had paid $800 for a job my 8 year old niece could have done a better job at. I called him several times and sent picture of the dirty furnace and he never responded to any of them. He literally robbed me. What a shame for someone to claim to be a professional and do this. I could have done the work you performed with my Shop Vac and it would have turned out much cleaner. I even question if all of the protocol to perform the job properly was done. My significant other who was home at the time **** did the job only saw him with vacuum smaller than my Shop Vac and gave her a hard time for asking him to kindly remove his shoes or wear shoe covers as we don't wear shoes in the house. The lack of no response from him represents his business and his character, lack thereof I should say. Shameful, despicable and fraudulent. The pictures were taken the same he "performed" the job and they were texted to him. No responses yet.

  I hired Air Duct Busters LLC to clean out my ducts and vents at my then home (** ****** **** ********* ** *****). I was quoted $438 to perform this work. When they finished the work, the made a very big deal about how all of my ducts were contaminated with significant amounts of black mold. They insisted this was harming my children's health. As a single mom, I would never want to risk my kid's health. They then quoted $745 +tax to remediate the mold and another $845 +tax for a unit that would completely eliminate the mold. This included a lifetime guarantee on the unit. I have repeatedly tried to contact Duct Busters LLC to service the unit I chose to have the duct work replaced 2 months later because of how bad this company stated the mold was. When the ducts were removed, they did not appear to have been cleaned. The company that replaced the ducts took multiple pictures, as did I. It did not appear that the majority of the ducts had been cleaned by Air Duct Busters. Nor was there any evidence that a black mold problem ever existed. I contacted Air Duct Busters for a credit or a future duct cleaning. The owner was extremely rude and finally hung up on me and would not return any further calls. I take responsibility for being taken advantage of in this way; being scared into having the remediation work done and purchasing the UV Light. At this point, I at least want the unit to be functional.

  I joined ****** **** with the hopes of Finding someone to clean the ducts in my mother’s home. Air duct king gave me an estimate of $200. And then proceeded to Tell me that the vents were full of mold and needed to remedied for health reasons. I panicked and agreed for fear that I was put my renters at risk. I called the renters to Find out what he did and they told me That he was there less than an hour and charged $2225.21.

  This man posed as a professional running the business Duct King out of Columbus, Ohio claimed he would come to my home using specialized equipment to clean all the ducts in my home. He said it would take him about 3 hrs to do the job.He was going to charge ‘$250.00. After examining the registers he claimed that my ducts were full of mold and the problem needed to be dealt with immediately. He told me it would cost a lot but he could guarantee that it would solve the problem for over 10 yrs. 

  Instead he came in with a shop vac and vacuumed the register and then sprayed some bleach or something and called the job finished. He charged me $2225.00 for less than one hour of work. Because I live so far away he asked me to Venmo him the money and said he would send me an itemized receipt.

  After he left I started worrying that perhaps he was not an honest and called the tenant to discuss what he actually did. When I discovered the truth, I called John M****. He refused to give me any of my money back.[

  As customer stated, we have all five star reviews from many many happy customers, and we find customer using the term

  ” posing” offensive. Customer was not even present during cleaning process, he is going off of the  word of his tenant, therefore,

  a professional air duct cleaner does not show up to your house with a shop vac and spray bottle and expect to be paid $2225.00 for less than an hours worth of work. He charged me that much money knowing I was not there to survey his work. The tenants later shared their accounts with me if their experience.

  John with Air Duct King is on the ********* ***. He gives a low cost to clean your air ducts and then comes up with more things to fix. I had already moved out and he used this as a way for me to not verify his work. He offered to send photos but never did, saying there was mold in my air ducts he needed to treat which cost $589 and then he said I needed a UV light to keep it from coming back which cost $849. The mold is not gone and I’ve had it tested by a real mold inspector. He does not answer my calls now and I see in his reviews that he has done this before. It cost me over 2,000.

  You were clearly told the price of the work before he ever started, and for the UV light as well. All customers are. If you did not feel comfortable with the work or price you should have spoken up. The work is done and all sales are final. At this time we are unable to honor your request for a refund.
