This kennel is not for working dogs. There’s too many dogs and between the daycare, kennel, grooming, etc in there that it’s ridiculously loud with a lot of things going on at one time. It was too much for my working dog and her anxiety. She ended up suffering an injury while boarding there, that has unfortunately required emergency surgery. I can’t give them zero stars because they did call me about the injury and took her to the emergency vet for us. What I’m upset about is the fact they didn’t claim responsibility for the injury nor did the owner apologize for the incident. Instead I received a letter from their lawyer stating the injury was self inflicted and that “you signed a care agreement indicating injuries may occur in a kennel environment and that you are holding the kennel harmless.” I’m not looking for resolution for the incident more so warning future customers that the agreement you sign holds them not responsible for anything that happens while in their care, which defeats the whole purpose of a kennel in general. My dog has been boarded with multiple other kennels and this is the first time anything like this has happened. Needless to say I will not be taking my dog back who luckily is finally on the road to recovery from her injury a month later.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review regarding Hazel’s recent boarding stay with us. She has boarded with us previously also and was always a great guest. During her most recent stay, she stayed in an XL run large enough for 2 German Shepherds, so she was quite comfortable by herself. Despite the large size of the run, we noticed the tip of the tail injured and it looked like “Happy Tail”, where the dogs tail is injured right on the tip and it gets worse by the dog continually wagging their tail. We noticed upon check in, and when we noticed the injury, that you had noted in her profile that she is know to chase her tail when “she’s excited/stressed”. The owner called you promptly when the injury was found and you gave us permission to take her to the vet. It was also noted on your profile that you gave us a $300 spending limit in the amount of a medical emergency, her vet bill from the visit you gave us permission to go to was not over that amount. Thankfully the vet was able to see her and help her feel better that day and we brought her back. Upon checkout you refused to pay for the transport to/from the vet, the vet bill, or her boarding stay—despite the care agreement signed, the medical amount granted to spend on Hazel’s care, knowing that she chases her tail, and the permission granted to take her to the vet. We wish you all the best on finding a pet care facility that suits yours and Hazel’s needs!

I would like to clarify that i did not refuse to pay the boarding bill, i wanted to talk to the owner who was not available while i was there to discuss payment regarding the vet bill. The front worker stated that was fine and he would gladly call us when available. After the owner called me he stated the vet bill will either be mailed to my residence or to them. I then paid the boarding fees without issue. He stated he would discuss partial payment for the emergency vet if the bill came to us or him, to which i was agreeable to. I have not heard anything since regarding the issue. As i stated above, I am not looking for resolution, merely stating my experience.
