I went to the Exchange in ***********, ** on *************************** on 12/21/21 around 7pm. I went to purchase 2 items: a Playstation 3 controller ($40) and a Playstation 2 game ($5). I found the items I was looking for, paid with my debit card, and used my rewards card that The Exchange offers its customers. When I got home to use the new controller, I had noticed it didn't turn on but didn't think anything of it and put it on charge while I use another one. After charging for an hour with 2 different cords at 2 different outlets, it was clear the controller would not take a charge and therefore not turn on. I attempted to return the controller or I'd even be happy with an exchange, but was promptly told no by the clerk since I did not have the physical receipt on-hand.
