They deceived me. He didn't give an estimate before starting repair. After the repair, he only said that I now have to pay them $8,755 for 4 wheels, three airbags and 2 rims and towing 20mils. Mr. ********************** the owner of this place was rude and disrespectful. He said that he has connections everywhere and that his children are in the police. He took the keys and kicked me out when I tried to ask ****'s question. He said get out and don't come back until you pay.Business response

I am writing to respond to a complaint filed against Fomby and Sons, a business engaged in heavy dutytruck repair services. The incident in question involves a customer who visited our shop with tire problems. The customer was provided with various alternative solutions, which unfortunately he did not find satisfactory.
Despite our best efforts to assist the customer and ensure a safe environment in the shop, he displayed aggressive behavior and refused to comply with safety instructions, leading to concerns about his well-being and that of our staff.
Regrettably, during his journey to the truck stop, the customer's ********************** caught on fire. In the aftermath of this incident, the ****** *********** called Fomby & Sons Towing out the get the truck & trailer from the road way, the customer stated the his ********************** had to be fixed by the next day, the truck was towed in on a semi truck wrecker, and due to the fire being on the back end of the truck a second truck had to come out the tow the trailer. The call came in to our company at 3:19 pm on 6/13/24 from the ****** police **** by the time the truck and trailer was back to our repair shop it was to late in the day to order parts. At 8 am 6/14/2024 Friday our shop started working on the truck, customer had stated he had to have the ********************** fixed that day, due to the customer wanting it fixed that day our company had to have more than one technician on this job. The tires the customer request was very expense tires and was special order, after finding the tires, and air bags that had to be special ordered our company had to send parts runners to pick up parts and tires to be able to finish the job that day. Customer was offered different tires that was cheaper that we had in stock but he refused. Customer also never ask for a esimate. The customer is now attempting to hold ********************** and Sons accountable for the damages incurred. We believe this claim lacks merit as it was the customer's own actions.

I have read the answer. And in turn, I want to give a few explanations. First of all, they didn't even give me an estimate before starting work. Secondly, before going to their workshop, Mr. ********************** personally assured me that all the spare parts were in stock, but in fact there was nothing, and I waited half a day for them to order them, and they counted this waiting time as a labor fee . Thirdly, he did not allow me to look at the track and check what exactly needed to be done and changed. Fourth, at the end of the day, he told me that they didnt have shock absorbers in stock and that I should wait until next week, and if I dont want to wait, then I can drive without shock absorbers. To which I told him, I cant drive like that, he answered me that its possible and I dont understand anything, at the same time he was very rude and talked to me in a humiliating way. I explained to him that during the inspection I might have problems because of this, to which he replied that his children work there (there is video evidence). Fifthly, when they gave me an invoice for payment, I had a couple of questions about it. I tried to ask very politely. But he rudely kicked me out and told me not to come back until I paid. These guys are profiting from someone else's misfortune, realizing that I am in a hopeless situation. I had to pay $8755 for four tires, two rims and three airbags.?????? And no one would help me in this situation. I am a simple driver, I have three children and my wife is a housewife. I really hope that you can help me in this situation, and I really want to protect other people from such a service!
