This happened 7 / 11 / 22 , We have AHS Warrenty and our house A/C Unit quit working about a week before this date . The tech came out and checked the ** and replaced a few parts ( 1 ) part he had to make a different part double to work though which it did. On 7 / 6 / 22 it Stopped working and I called AHS , They got hold of A1 and he said he cant get the tech out there untill 7 / 9 so we had to wait . We are in *** and the temps are 100 plus we are in our mid 60 s and I am Retired on a fixed income. I thought when you have something worked on and it broke that soon that you would be put before others since they had worked on it allready , But **** at Ai said no that we had to wait. Again we had to wait in the Heat for 4 days , all we have is a small window unit put in our bedroom for Air. So when the tech came out he said the Compresser was bad and they will have to get with AHS to see about them Warrentying it and that the cost is about $ **** plus $ 125 a pound for Freon plus their labor , I thought that was alittle High and said why dont they just replace the whole ** unit it is a **** MDL . He said that is up to AHS . After several days of not hearing from anyone I called AHS and they Declined it because the tech said our Vents are to small , the tech didnt say that to me before he left. I dont understand why he told them that because we have been in this house since 2009 and that is the first time we had any trouble with the ** . A1 new ahead of time and should have told us instead of me having to make a call , now we have to stay in a Hotel which is going to be hard on us Financially because that is why we have the Warrenty to take care of these things . We cant afford $ **** for a New ** Unit. Now we have to get a 2 opinion from another ** Company and more than likely AHS will turn us down again because of what A1 told them. I do not understand why A1 did this to us it wasnt going to cost them any money .Business response

The original w/O was received on June 28,2022 and was ran that same day. We found contactor failed and replaced. The second w/o was placed on 07/06/2022, and since it came in on Thursday , the warranty fives us 48 hours to run call, but, the weekend does not figure into time slot..Because we found compressor grounded, we have an obligation to warranty to find why it failed and did so placing a denial on compressor because that warranty ,company's decision. The price h.o. quoted was for total compressor replacement , which included freon.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I got with AHS and they said I could get a second opinion , The new Contractor came and said that the Compressor was bad due to age and was worn out . AHS accepted that and we got our Comp. replace on 8 , 1 , 22 . We did have to pay for freon AHS had no issues with the second Contractor , I fill we could have gotten our AC fixed with A1 if they just would of said our unit was wore out , We spent 3 weeks in the 3 diget heat and was out $ 400 + for a window unit that we are stuck with now and I fill A1 should help with our money we spent.
