***************************** ************************************************************ December 24, 2022 Better Business Bureau ********************************************************************* Re: Javelin Energy Partners **************************************************************************** Phone: ************ Good morning, This letter is to file a complaint against Javelin Energy Partners for not releasing royalty payments to me. The previous administrator for my account was EP Energy E&P Company, LLC. On March 30, 2022, this entity underwent a divisional merger in which Javelin became the successor-in-interest to assets located in **** where I have an interest. I have not received any royalty payments from Javelin since the merger. On September 14, 2022 I received correspondence from Javelin advising me of the merger along with paperwork to complete a W9 form and to set-up direct deposit for future payments. The paperwork was returned to them in early October 2022. On December 6 of this year I sent an email to Javelin asking about the delay in sending me the royalty payments. On December *********************************************************************************************************************** on file and attached to their email was W9 and Change of Address Forms for me to complete. I completed these forms and emailed them back to them upon receipt of the email and by First Class Mail. They did not disclose the address that they claimed to have for me nor the amount of payment. It is odd that they had my correct address for correspondence but not for payment obligations. On December 20 I received an email from them stating the return address form was received and that it would take up to 60 days to process. I do not buy the wrong address response from them nor does it take a legitimate business more than ********************************************** change of address notification.
