I had acquired this company through the bbb several months ago. The person in charge had texted me about prices and asked me if I was interested. I said yes, he was going to put me on the roster to have my front yard sprayed. About a month from that initial set up I had reached out to this same person and asked if I was still scheduled to have my yard sprayed. He responded saying yes he has been delayed since his truck broke down. He never called me to let me know this btw. Anyway, I said that's fine and he made it seem like he would get to my yard once he got all this stuff with his new truck taken care of. It's been another month or so and I haven't heard from him or seen him at all. I'm moving on but wanted people to know what to expect.Business response

I apologize sincerely for not following up about the progress of my truck situation. The engine on my truck overheated rendering it totaled. I did not get any insurance money because it was deemed a mechanical failure. Therefore it has been a difficult few weeks financially. Moreover my grandmother has dementia and I have been acting as a part time in home caregiver which is very stressful. This is not an accurate reflection of the way I handle new customers and isn't what anyone should expect, I just got overwhelmed with black swan events and the stress of helping with my grandmother. Finally, the heavy and sporadic rainfall that characterizes this time of year makes every week a new and dynamic schedule with many moving parts. This added level of complexity increases the risk of details falling through the cracks. Again, I apologize that this happened and can say with confidence this is not how I do business normally.
