      01/10/2022

On Wednesday 12/22/2021 at 2:13 PM I called to schedule services for my front outside water spout that was dripping. I mentioned that I had ***** do some work for me in the past. You said the soonest that ***** could be out would be Monday 12/27/2021 and I agreed that I would be available. I was available at my house all day on Monday. I did not receive any kind of call letting me know approximately what time I would receive service. I called at 12/27/2021 at 1:23 PM to ascertain the approximate time as I had not heard from anyone and had been available and waiting. I spoke with a lady and asked what time should I expect service as it was getting late. I was told that ***** was overbooked and would not be able to make it to my house until Tuesday. To which I specifically stated a phone call would have been nice as I have been waiting all morning and most of the afternoon, regardless a full day off work. I stated that we had doctor ************ on Tuesday so we would need him to come after 2:00 PM and she said she would let him know. I called Tuesday at 4:53 PM asking the status. I spoke with Ray and was told that I should have called the office - which I shouldn't have to do because I had scheduled service so why would I need to call? Not only why should I call, but I did call. Multiple times. I was told on Tuesday afternoon that ***** was running behind and was supposed to call me. Well he didn't. So we sat another afternoon waiting with no call and no show. Ray said ***** would come on Wednesday, to which I insisted on being the first appointment at 9:00 AM. After ***** reviewed the situation he said the cost would be $200 to do a full replacement. I agreed to the full replacement because he said it would be $200. Then he went to the store to get the parts and I requested a water main valve shutoff tool and ***** said they were like $25 and I agreed to that. Once all the work was completed, ***** said the price would be under $300 not to worry including labor and the tool. I asked for an invoice and he said no worries, less than $300 and an invoice would be mailed, which is weird I always receive an invoice at time of service. I was expecting closer to $250 as I was quoted $200 all in to replace the dripping spout and "like $25" for the meter key. I then received a non itemized invoice for $433.70. I promptly called in this regard and explained I was quoted $200 for the new spout and $25 for the tool and that my **** would be under $300 to which Ray said ***** doesn't get to set the prices. Unfortunately yes, the service tech gives quotes, to which I agreed. If the quotes are not valid then how does a client agree or disagree to a service? That doesn't even make any sense. I then said we sat here for 2 days waiting for someone to show up to which I was told I should have called the office, to which I said I did and I spoke to you, to which I was told no I didn't and then Ray literally hung up the phone. This is made up pricing. This is all very upsetting as we really like ***** and he does a good job.
