On July 6, 2022, I took my dog to this dog groomer for her monthly appointment. When I was picking her up around noon I was greeted at the door by the shop owners cat. I asked if I could pet the cat & they said yes because he is friendly. When I went to pet the cat he bit me on my hand, breaking skin & drawing a small amount of blood. I told them immediately & they apologized. I then paid $45 for the service & left. Later that day I went to an urgent care to get antibiotics and a tetanus shot because I was informed that cat bites are more likely to become infected. The urgent care visit plus the antibiotics all cost me about $35. I made the groomers aware of this and they said they would give me a refund for that days appointment to cover my copay/antibiotics. I followed up with them multiple times via phone/text, but they ignored them & never issued a refund. I then left a google review explaining the situation & they replied to it saying they would give me the refund & proof of the refund but never followed up again afterwards. Even if I can’t get the $45 refund for the appointment I at least would appreciate the $35 that I had to spend due to their cat biting me. The photo I provided was taken about 2 days after the incident.
