I Hired this company and paid them in full. I have asked repeatedly to send the final invoice for the work which has been over 6 weeks now and no final invoice from this company. I have emailed them twice and still nothing back from this company. I need to close my insurance claim and they refuse. I ended up firing this company due to the lack of cleaning up after themselves. Finding mud handprints on my safe; computer chair and my work computer. I work for the state of ****** and cannot have it compromised. Many times, I came into a room they were working in, and they were attempting to log into my WiFi after telling them no that is not okay. Then on two separate occasions I found them unplugging my security cameras and still trying to figure out which WiFi was mine. I want people to know about this so they know this company and their employees cannot be trusted. My German ******* puppy was teased every time by one of the employee's **** and the other *********************** were the two that came to my home. Myself and my insurance company believe they over charged me, and I am positive now that I reviewed what they billed for - hours for a person that was not here enough to be counted.I was over charge for hours of labor and supplies were purchased on with my insurance money for his other projects that were away from this home. I saw them take the mud and plywood and all the extra roof hoods.

We were hired by ******* for the repair work in the ******** ****** & Kitchen of her home. The previous roof that was on the home was leaking and caused drywall, insulation and flooring damage throughout those rooms. We helped guide her at times on working with her insurance company and even worked with them directly to smooth the process for her. Just for reference on the work we did for her by each room:

      Bedroom
      - First things first we helped move all of the furniture out of the room for her. This way the room was completely empty to commence work and not have the possibility of damaging her belongings.
      - We completely removed all of the drywall, insulation and flooring from the room. This way we were able to get back down to bare studs and repair any wood rot that *** have occurred.
      - We installed all new insulation in the room. Most of the exterior walls didnt have insulation prior, so we included that to ensure proper climate control in that room and help save her money with Heating & Cooling throughout the year.
      - Then we replaced all of the drywall throughout the whole room including the walls, closets and ceiling. We applied drywall mud to everything and got it back to paintable conditions. - - - We left the walls unpainted so that ******* could paint them herself to save money.
      - We then installed new Luxury Vinyl Flooring throughout the room
      - All new baseboard and door molding were then installed.
      - After all of the work was completed to her satisfaction, we moved all of her furniture back in place in the bedroom.

      Kitchen
      - We moved out as much as possible and what we couldnt move, we covered in plastic to protect.
      - The Ceiling drywall was removed and we repaired any wood that was deemed necessary.
      - The Drywall was then replaced and mudded to paintable condition for ******* to paint.
      - We built a new microwave vent enclosure for a nice finishing touch.

      ******

Regarding the Wifi, ******* was in charge of removing and reinstalling the Wifi for us. We knew it was a sensitive issue regarding her work and didnt want to be responsible for damaging the unit. We do apologize if she felt we were trying to log into her Wifi but there *** have been times that we needed to move the box out of the way while still connected to the wall.

The same thing goes for the security camera control unit located in her office. We only needed to unhook and reinstall it to keep it out of the way of work. We knew that she was experiencing trouble with people outside of her home at night and would never endanger her in that way and leave her without her cameras.

      Attic
      - Due to the leaking roof, we actually removed all of the existing insulation and replaced all of it with new blown in insulation. We even increased the thickness to meet code which wasnt the case with the previous damaged insulation.

Overall we thought we had a good working relationship with her and her German ******* puppy Ruger. Ruger was a good boy and stayed in his kennel most of the time. He is very protective and we were instructed to not put our hands near the kennel for fear of being bitten. We were warned of this prior to starting work, so we would walk by and ignore him so as to avoid ****** him up. If he was out in backyard, we would keep our distance as well. In regards to firing us, we werent under that impression as we were close to the end of our work. The only remaining things we had left to do was install the closet door that we were waiting for her to purchase on her own. We came to the agreement that we should go our separate ways and thus never got to complete that closet door. Everything else was completed per contract.

Regarding pricing, I knew we had a bit of confusion in the beginning when working with the insurance company, but in the end the insurance adjuster **** actually kept our contact information for future work for them. He felt our pricing was more than fair and very competitive. We did all of this work for $8,983.43 and barely broke even with all of the extra freebies we threw in when she asked us to assist on something outside the scope of work. We did all of those extra things because we just want to make sure the customer is happy and we do everything we can to make their lives easier.

Any materials that were left over from our work were promptly returned and not charged to *******. We would never use any customers project money to purchase materials for another project. That is beyond wrong for any company to do to a customer and goes against our beliefs. We do apologize if that was not made clear as we would never want someone to do that to us in our own personal lives.

For the cleanliness of the job site, we actually asked that ******* assist us in cleaning. The aim for this was to save her money on the hours just like we were doing for the painting. If she would have said something, we would taken up the cleaning once again and made sure to keep the place spotless. **** and **** would have done anything to keep her happy and avoid any ill will felt towards us. If we did indeed get drywall material on her furniture, we deeply apologize. We would have cleaned it immediately if we had noticed it while there.

For the final billing, ******* sent me an email on Friday 5/27 4:44pm requesting the final invoice. Myself, ****** was out of town for Memorial Day weekend and didnt see the email till the following week. I responded on Tuesday 5/31 8:47am with the final invoice and apologies for not seeing it sooner. This complaint was submitted on Saturday 5/28, so I was not given ample time to respond before the complaint was submitted. I wish I could have gotten to it sooner but I was out camping with my family and without my computer. I feel bad that it came to this as we want all our customers to be completely happy. This is the first time we have had an upset customer and we will take this as a learning opportunity for even better communication with our customers.
