On Sept. 17, 2022 I went in to the convenience store to purchase three $200 Amazon gift cards. I took the three gift cards to the register. I was told by the cashier that I would need to do the transactions separately. The cashier rang up the first gift card and I paid via a circle k gift card. When the cashier rang up the second amazon gift card he told me the total and I swiped my circle k gift card again as payment. The cashier then told me there's a fraud alert on my gift card. He then waited and then said the transaction went through, $200 was deducted from my circle k gift card. He then rang up my amazon third gift card. I asked him about my receipt for the second transaction and he said he would print it at the end. He told me the total for the third gift card and I swiped the circle k gift card and again $200 was deducted (across 2 different gift cards, $100 on each circle k gift card). He then gave me my receipts for the second and third transaction and said they went through. I went to the car and immediately tried to redeem the gift cards. The second and third amazon gift cards were not valid. The receipt for the first amazon gift card shows "APPROVED" while the second and third amazon gift card shows "DECLINED". I immediately went back in to attempt to get a refund or get valid amazon gift cards and was told to return Monday to speak to a manager. I returned on Sept. 19, 2022. The manager acknowledges that the gift cards for the second and third amazon gift card were not processed (rendering them invalid) and stated that I should not have been able to pay for invalid gift cards. I showed the receipts showing the $200 taken out on the second and third transactions (for a total of $400). She acknowledged that the credit was taken off the gift cards. I asked for the transactions to be cancelled or returned and was told that they could not return the $400 credit that was taken from me.Customer response

I would like to annotate that the business has provided the gift cards to me. My complaint has been resolved.
