Predatory pricing with no ways to cancel your plan easily. If you want to cancel ANY policy, you must print and send a form to their address, as well as pay a $350 fee per cancelation. This cancelation fee is not mentioned by their call center agents, it is hidden in the fine print of their ToS. They will not reach out to you regarding the health of your pet, they will not remind you of appointments, they will only contact you if you owe money. A highly unethical and highly unprofessional pet hospital, I suggest any other service you can find and to stay far far away from this scum organization.Review from Yelena S

I just want everybody to know don't make any contract with ******* pet hospital the service was horrible they didn't do anything for my dog but pulled his ear when they took him in the back there were no doctors therei canceled contract the same day lady told me she will pay back one part of my payment but the other they have to keep they never return anything and stop Answering my phone calls the place fills weird as soon as you walk inside . I don't understand what they doing with all the donations they get to treat animals and save their life's. Defenetly not on our pets. People give money to help pets but all they do is take so much money from people who barely can afford anything and who knows where that money goes.somebody should probably investigate what is really going on. I save animals and help alot of people who lives on the streets who need somebody to talk or listen to them clean up our streets for free because that's what we here for to help each other not to only think about how to make alot of money by ripping people off .and especially help animals because they can't take care of them selfs whenever they hungry or sick so maybe we should think about changing something in this world it doesn't matter if you don't have alot of money but it will make you fill good in the end for saving someone's life but helping listening for somebody who needs somebody just to listen so they know that they not alone and that somebody cares even if they don't have any moneyReview from Jerrold W

I have Hannah ************** The only good thing so far is that the doctors seem to know what they're doing. Other than that, the trainers are lazy, incompetent, and rude. My first training session was scheduled in the middle of an already ongoing class so I was 3 classes behind when I started but they didn't tell me that until I had wasted 3 trips to the ******** location. *****, the trainer I had tried to hang my dog right in front of me. I guess that's the British mentality of that B***h. If the dog won't obey, grab the leash and pull up until he can't breathe anymore. Then when I tried to set up a new class for training, not one person ever called me back, I had to call them and still I haven't gotten a new class. They blamed it on their communication system. That means that their communication system was broken for more than 2 months. How do you run a hospital without a working communication system? You can't unless the whole thing or at least part of it is a scam. This is the 21st century. If they were those kinds of communication problems the problem is with the management, no the system. Good management would have made sure that the system was working in less than a day or got a new system. Now I can't even get them to call me back to schedule training with a different trainer. No need now, I learned everything I needed to learn watching ******** All I want from Hannah now is to take care of my dog as promised. They won't even do that. I can't get anyone to call me back, they keep taking my monthly payment, and they haven't even dropped the price like they said they would. I think it's because I am not a minority. I see women, foreigners, and gay people in there getting exactly what was promised to them as it was to me but I don't get s*** Don't get me wrong, I am not racist or sexist. I just call it like it is and these people are doing nothing but running a scam. HAVE A GOOD DAY HANNAH MANAGEMENT AND TRAINER, *********************************************************Review from Emily W

A friend recommended me to Hannah and I was excited about the all inclusive monthly cost. Though I didnt realize how much Id miss the quality of care at a real vet.. I call this a fake-vet because it is clearly for the $$. I have a very excited Aussie Lab who has had plenty of training and despite that she is still excited when meeting new friends. Our first visit to Hannah was when I needed to take my pup to the ** vet for a UTI. I called 2 hours beforehand, again 45 minutes beforehand, and once when I was outside. While waiting outside (doors were locked) we could just see coworkers laughing. After roughly 10 minutes of waiting in the rain a vet tech slightly opens the door (just enough to talk) and told us to collect her urine. We would have done that before driving an hour had we known with simple communication. While providing us with this information they had a horrible attitude toward my dog and acted like she was a rabid zoo animal. As if they were too good for her, it made me sad being that my pup is my best friend. Now im stuck in this stupid membership with untrustworthy doctors and snobby vet techs who dont like my dog because the cancellation fee is too expensive. Such a waste of time and money. Ill be going back to my other vet for the humble and kind care we adore.Review from Janet B

All the negative reviews are ridiculous! I signed up almost a year ago after being blessed with a small breed purebred dog. Having lost my beloved Pomeranian the previous year and experiencing many struggles in affording her care and meds during her last years, I was thrilled to find Hannah. As a senior on a (small) fixed monthly income, a regular (affordable) monthly bill for my little guy is a major relief compared to living with the fear of unexpected, astronomical vet bills! The staff at Hannah have been wonderful, and I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the attention and care we have received.Hannah's Pet Hospitals of Oregon Inc Response

Do not take your pet here. I paid the membership fee for 8 months before I took my senior rescue dog. I had never been in person but had given a full medical history including a poorly done amputation done by previous abusive owners who had abandoned my dog. Before the tech came and got him, a trainer was helping a woman train her wild young pit bull in the lobby, and jumped up on chair my dog was on TWICE! Trainer did nothing. They wouldnt allow me in the exam room, but I saw others going back with their pets. A nurse practitioner examined him, but only a vet tech was sent to explain his exam/lab results. I got this vague spiel about his labs being abnormal maybe due to diet. No other advice or explanation. Then she continued with this weird accusatory speech about him needing a wheelchair because of the poor amputation, implying I did it. Didnt ask if he was a rescue or anything, even though its in his chart. That has NEVER happened since other vets at least ask before they make assumptions. She then gave me a lecture about getting a wheelchair for my dog who can walk fine on his own. They did give me the med I had asked for and I left, but gave me no after visit summary. A week later I didnt hear from anyone and had not received his lab results. When I called the front desk they said they had rejected my dog as a patient unless he gets a full amputation. This dog is 10+ years old and Im just keeping him comfortable until he passes. Nobody had informed me of this. I eventually found out that this nurse practitioner usually doesnt talk to her own clients. The corporation gave me HALF a refund. And 3 weeks later, I have STILL not received any paperwork, again including his results. I asked for the nurse practitioners license number (they didnt even tell me her name) and still no word from them. I was even promised a call from the **** Nothing. I keep getting told there was miscommunication but in my experience there was no communication at all.Hannah's Pet Hospitals of Oregon Inc Response

Hi Emma,I apologize for the experience you had with our team. This is not a typical experience for Hannah Members and I assure you that it would not have happened again. As it may be too late to reconcile, I want you to know that I've used your experience as a coaching tool to be sure we don't make the mistakes, again. I have reviewed the video footage from our lobby and while I agree that mistakes were made, we also did several things right. I would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns by phone. I have left you a voicemail with my direct number. Please reach out to me, at your earliest convenience.Review from Mahala R

This business's practices are neglectful and dangerous for animals. A year ago, my dog started having seizures. He'd not had seizures before, and I had applied a new topical flea medication the day before they started. When I took him to the emergency room, I clearly included this in the intake form. 24 hours pass, he is still having seizures and the doctors can't figure out what's going on. 48 hours pass, same thing. ***************************** to say they are going to put him on epilepsy meds. I asked him if there's anything else that could be causing it because he has no history with seizures, and the doctor ******* off a long list...including topical flea medications. I was astounded and told the doctor that I'd included that multiple times on the intake form. He immediately has the nurse give him a bath to remove the topical meds, and the seizures immediately stop. Three days of my dog experiencing seizures because they didn't read the intake form.Over the next 8 months, my dog starts looking skinnier and continues to have a seizure every 2-3 months. I pointed out his worrisome weight to the medical team, who had previously recommended that I feed him a high fiber diet and only 1/4 cup of food total each day. The seizures continued and, rather than continuing to sort through possible causes, the Hannah team ignores his weight andcontinues to recommend that I put him on epilepsy meds (which, once you get on them you can't get off). So, I take him to another vet to get a second opinion. The first thing they communicate is that he is eating way too little, and they suggest at least doubling his food intake. They also say that seizures can be caused by low glucose, which can result from malnutrition. So I start doubling my dog's food intake and, to my simultaneous gratitude and horror, he has not had a seizure since. Essentially, Hannah had been recommending that I underfeed Ziggy which had been causing the seizures, initially triggered by the flea medication.Review from Bobbi G

I've had pets with Hannah for years and years. People who ****** or hear from someone else that Hannah owns your dog and can come take your furbaby away from you are misinformed. They also seem to confuse an adoption from Hannah for using their vet services for their own dogs. I pay one monthly fee per dog and if my dog suddenly needs life-saving surgery, I don't even have to pause to worry about the cost. I took a Chihuahua to ******************** for a friend. I dropped off and picked up. That dog had to have 2 teeth pulled and the **** was over $800.00. I about fainted. I pay $72 a month and had a one-year-old dog I rescued that needed 15 teeth pulled, needed surgery to remove plastic from its intestines, and on top of that the dog has gastritis. With all that & the dog's continuous need for care and meds I still only pay that monthly fee. I do wish people who have never used Hannah or haven't bothered to truly understand the "Hannah owns your pet clause" would stop misinforming others. If you can afford that monthly fee, you'll never have to worry about any of your pet's medical needs. Also, remember, people tend to jump to give bad reviews but people dont always worry or think about leaving reviews when they are happy with a complany.Review from CAMILLE B

Our 2 dogs are on Hannah's insurance plan and have been for a little over 2 years. My first appointment was okay but it just got worse from there. Staff are not consistent with information and always forget to do services that I request. Some staff seem to genuinely care but most seem annoyed to even be there. I get the feeling that the employees are very unhappy with there employer. Things are usually rushed. They don't always call back with lab results. I've had to call multiple times because they can't always locate lab results. I was told on the last labs done that the doctor was too busy to call with results and it had already been 2 1/2 weeks after the blood draw. My dog had Paraphimosis and they never told me about it in 2 years time. After about 2 years of being with Hannah, they informed me that I should be applying vaseline to the area occasionally. After I was told that, I did some research and discovered that it was Paraphimosis. I contacted Hannah and told them about what I read online about Paraphimosis and they said they wanted to do surgery immediately. Also, one of my dogs was diagnosed with Luxating Patella in one leg. I saw 2 other vets who both told me that he had it in both legs. One of my dogs had an ear infection and after 2 weeks of Otomax drops, prescribed by Hannah, my dog couldn't hear at all. We called Hannah and we were told that she lost her hearing because she is 9 years old. We asked for her to be seen to make sure there were no complications with the ear infection. They said they would have a nurse call us back. The nurse called back and kept calling my dog a he even after I told her that she's a she. The nurse kept getting the information wrong that we relayed to the front desk before having the nurse call us. It was very obvious that they couldn't care less. They said they couldn't see her until her scheduled vaccine booster appoinment which is 9 months away. We are still currently dealing with this. This place scares me.Hannah's Pet Hospitals of Oregon Inc Response
