I see I took my truck to *****'s to have the motor replaced I told them when I got there that it would be warranty paying for half of the work and me paying for the other half or providing the motor so I purchase a motor from a junkyard anyways then they put it in and when it came time to pick it up I asked them what they were doing about the warranty I gave them all the information when I took the truck in have they told me that they didn't get a hold of the warranty company so that I tried to get a hold of the warranty company they said that that the shop had to call them I tried to get the Rockies to call the warranty company they told me that it took too long and when I went to pick the truck up they I called the warranty company and they know the shop called the warranty company and the warranty company told me it was too late because the work had already been done and that they wouldn't pay so *****'s instead of taking responsibility for not calling the warranty information in and filing the claim put it off on me and I had to pay $2,500 of Labor costs I feel like it should be to shop's responsibility I've talked to a couple other shops that they all say that it's the shop's responsibility to contact the warranty company and warranty company would not even allow me to start a claim that it had to be filed by the shop so I feel like Rockies with negligent in their in their duties and it resulted in a **** bill that somebody had to pay and it ended up being me I would rather them to give my money back because they were the ones that messed up not meBusiness response

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMERS AFTERMARKET WARRANTY, LITHIA DODGE ALREADY HAD A CLAIM THAT WAS APROVED AND HE TOWED THE ***** OUT OF THGE DEALER TO MY SHOP WITH A BALANCE THERE. WE TALKED TO HIS WARRANTY COMPANY, THEY WOULDNT APPROVE TWO DIFFIERENT CLAIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. WE DONT OWE HIM ANY MONEYCustomer response

This is not right the shop is just going to say it's not our responsibility even though it was solely their responsibility as I was unable to file the claim because it is the shops responsibilities. This is a prime example of unethical business practices. In addition to the original complaint I have incurred an additional **** dollar mechanic bill and sat on the road for two days because the shop failed to rehang all the wires properly and a set rubbed on the drive line until it shorted out and I was stuck. I will provide invoice.
