Worst business experience of my life! Theyre incompetent and unprofessional. They work harder not to do their job than to do their jobs and lets face it, what they do isnt brain surgery. They cause small businesses to lose serious amounts of money. They do not hold themselves as a company or their employees accountable. I hope a ************ investor reads all their terrible reviews, takes them to heart, and competes them right out of business. Give property management companies a reportable partner, not an obstacle like netvendor. If I wasnt forced to deal with them, I never would againNetVendor Response

Hi **** -- We're sorry to hear about your frustration. According to our records, you're compliant with three of the five property management companies you work with. We're happy to help you become compliant with the other two, but that's best handled by our customer service team. Please contact us so we can help.Review from Brendan C

I am a business owner and NetVendor has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever come across in my entire life. Nobody ever answers the phones, they take days to get back to voicemails, emails, callbacks. You have no way of updating your information on your own. You must speak to them. Myself and insurance broker have sent the same information to them four separate times dating back 25 days. According to them this information should be uploaded within 24 hours.....well it has been more than 25 days. This company's horrendous customer service and inability to do their job prevents business from getting paid. I think NetVendor may be one of the most poorly run businesses I have ever come across, they should be investigated for what they are doing.NetVendor Response

Hi ******* - We're sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. According to our records, the property management company you work with requires umbrella coverage and auto coverage that we've not yet received evidence of.
We've left you voicemails and had three-way calls with you and your insurance agent.
The fastest way to become compliant is to have your agent submit evidence of the required coverage using the template provided. If you need additional assistance, please contact customer service.

I am a business owner and have had one of the WORST experiences dealing with NetVendor. We have tried to become an "approved vendor" for the last 3 months, to no avail. Requested information was provided, yet they keep declining our paperwork submissions, which has resulted in not being able to be paid for work already completed. Long wait times calling customer service to now- silence...no responses to my emails. I will never work with a property again that uses NetVendor. Time, effort, and money lost, something a small business cannot afford.NetVendor Response

We're sorry to hear about your experience. Our records indicate that we have we have received your General Liability certificate six times. Unfortunately, each time we received the certificate, it was missing the additional insured endorsement page. Each time we received the certificate, we replied and requested a copy of the additional insured endorsement.
The property management company you work with has set the requirement for this endorsement, not NetVendor.
If you could please respond to our request with the insurance certificate and the endorsement together, you would be compliant. Typically, the vendor's insurance agent handles this process and vendors don't have to get involved. We always encourage the property management companies we work with to be sure their vendors are compliant with all insurance requirements before the vendor is asked to do any work to avoid frustration such as this.
If there's anything else we can do to help you, please let us know.Review from Michael B

What they did was Criminal. We are an electrical contractor and last year we enrolled with them because we serve one of their properties. They had already completed the background check with us last year and was set up with our insurance carriers. This year my office manager renewed with them. They sent us an email saying they have increased the general liability limits. After looking into this matter myself, I found out that they dont even work with the property we serve anymore. I asked for a refund. They stated they have a ****** non refundable policy. The fee is $119. They said that fee goes towards background checks and working with our insurance carriers. However, they never performed a background check on us this year and I stopped them from contacting or making changes with our insurance providers. They are refusing to refund the $119. They did absolutely zero work and refuse to give our money back.NetVendor Response

Hello - We checked our records and found the following.
You enrolled on June 20, 2023 in order to work with properties managed by one of our *************************** (***) partners. During that process, you selected 8 properties, all managed by the same ***, that you perform work for. We ran a background check and a tax identification number check. We also sent requests for certificates of insurance to your insurance agent.
NetVendor continues to work with all 8 of these properties and all the other properties that the *** partner in question manages.
Regarding the general liability limits: NetVendor doesn't set insurance requirements. We make sure that vendors comply with the requirements that are set by the ***.
We received a call from you on July 1, 2023, stating you no longer work with the *** partner in question and that you would like to cancel your subscription. Although we cannot provide a refund, please rest assured your subscription is cancelled. If you change your mind and wish to continue to work with the ***, please call us and let us know and we will re-activate your subscription.Review from Ernesto K

I'm going on 3 months without being in compliance I have given everything they need I talked to a customer service representative and said I was in compliance and come to find out I have not received payment from the property I did work for cause I'm not compliant this is ridiculous. Last conversation I had with Representative was I need my ****************** after I was told if I upgraded my policy it'll be waived it's always something I'm done. My lawyer can handle this if no Results.NetVendor Response

Unfortunately, we dont have any control over what the property management company requires for insurance. In your case, as a Junk Removal/Trash Hauler, the management company requires 1m in umbrella coverage which we have not been provided with yet. The management company requires you to obtain a 1m umbrella coverage policy OR if you have 2m Each occurrence in General Liability and 2m aggregate they will take that in lieu of the umbrella policy. I truly hope this helps.Review from Dorian V.

I have personally assisted you on multiple occasions and have done three-way calls with the insurance companies in the past. Everything that the management company is requiring has been relayed to your insurance agents. I called you again today and we did another three-way call with your GL/auto insurance provider. They stated it could take up to three days for a COI to be sent to us with the limits required, as they had done the last policy period. While we were transferred by them on multiple occasions during the 1hr20min call I pulled up notes and calls and I did not see any calls being disconnected by my team. I do see a three-way call was tried to be initiated on your end previously and the call dropped.. As always please let us know if there is anything more we can do to assist in getting your business compliant, as that is our goal!Review from Lisa D.

We are sorry for your misguided frustration. Please understand that the property management company for whom you are trying to work creates the requirements, and we enforce those requirements. You are compliant for everything except for the necessary auto insurance. The property management company does not accept ID cards as a form of insurance, which is what was submitted originally. We then received the certificate of insurance and it listed split limits of 25k/65k/15k. The management company requires 100k/300k/100k split limits to meet the auto requirement. Once you increase your limits and submit the certificate of insurance, you will be compliant. Again, NetVendor doesnt make the requirements. The property management company does. Once you increase your auto limits get us a copy of the insurance certificate and we will let the management company know you are fully compliant.Review from M. L.

Absolute nightmare! I have had compliant COI's uploaded for two weeks now and I still have a non-compliant status. They have sent back documents with one excuse after another instead of telling my insurance agents what they need from the beginning. I have AAA and State Farm not cut rate insurance companies and they are not cheap! I have been dealing with this nightmare for two weeks. If I treated my customers like this, I would be out of business. I have been in business for 30 years and have had this much trouble getting my insurance verified.NetVendor Response

Hello,Im sorry your agent was having so much trouble. On July 7th we asked your agent if you had split limits or a combined single limit for your insurance. Your agent provided us an auto certificate again on July 11th indicating that you had split limits but your agent forgot to sign the certificate of insurance. We sent this exact communication to your agent on July 11th. Document Rejection for Automobile: The agent's signature is missing. Please have a licensed agent sign the certificate and return it to us when this has been addressed. Thank you. Your agent replied on July 12th with the signed certificate of insurance and it was put in the system. As you can see once we had the correct certificate of insurance that was signed by your agent you were compliant for that type of insurance. The only reason you are not currently compliant as of July 13th is because the property management company you are enrolled with requires 1m in umbrella coverage. Your insurance agent does not have any umbrella coverage on the certificate of insurance. Im very sorry that you feel this was on NetVendor. Clear communication and a copy of the insurance template with requirements were sent to your agent multiple times. They just unfortunately forgot to sign the certificate causing delays.Customer Response

You are responding to the first document that I submitted since then, I have purchased a completely different policy that meets all the specifications that my client requires. This document has been submitted by both my agent and myself and has yet to be reviewed. If I could speak with someone who actually reviews these documents when I call on this wouldnt be so complicated.Review from Kelly M

They should not be in business. We have been fighting with them for weeks. We submit paperwork and they send emails saying it will be 24 hours to update our status to compliant. 1 month later were still non compliant because they rejected out documents but did not notify anyone. This company is ridiculous and very unprofessional.NetVendor Response

Hello *****,Sorry for your frustration. We sent your agent the template with the insurance requirements. They responded on March 15th. On March 16th we processed the document and it was rejected. The following email was sent to your agent ****************************** and ******************************** was copied on the email at 11:14am Pacific Time on March 16th. The rejection email stated: Certificate Rejection: Please review the attached template for the needed verbiage and limits required. Please note that the copy of the additional remarks schedule sent with the sample template is required to be sent back with the certificate. Please talk with the insured if needed and send the documents back to us together once corrected. thank you The rejection email was opened by JMcCarthy the morning of March 17th. We had followed up 3 additional times from that date before finally speaking to you on April 4th. In all communications your agent had opened the requests. It is unfortunate that your agent did not communicate this to you as requested.
