On March 31st of this year I purchased a stainless steel french door fridge from Albert Appliance which was delivered the next week. After 2-3 days of use the fridge stopped working and the entire fridge full of food was lost due to spoilage. After contacting the business and requesting help as well as refunds for all the food lost I was told to text the owner. After doing so I finally got someone to respond and come look at the fridge by the end of that week - and was told the delivery men broke it and it would need to be replaced. After a week or so and 2-3 different times I was told for the delivery I finally received a replacement - which proceeded to not have a working freezer. I called to complain and request them to fix it which I spent at least two weeks trying to get action on. Finally someone came - told me they would come the next day to fix. After zero communication and no shows on the repair, a week later the fridge stopped working and more food was lost. Then I was told they would come the next day and I demanded some sort of food refund. They finally showed up and completed a repair and I was handed $50, even though $200 of groceries were lost. Within 2 days the fridge broke yet again and I called to demand a full refund and for them to pick up the fridge which they said they would do. After daily calls for over a week I finally received a refund of my initial purchase. 3 weeks later now and they have yet to pick up the fridge despite being given 3 different times they would come. I've stored their broken fridge for weeks, lost $150 worth of unrefunded food, spend months trying to call and communicate with them. At this point I'd had to purchase a new fridge and find a way to remove this one from my home. This entire endeavor cost me time and money.Customer response

Yesterday after yet another call to the business and telling them the broken fridge needed to be out of my house by 10 am today - Im getting a new one delivered by a different business - they finally showed. However they managed to damage my door and walk out without so much as acknowledging it. Please see pictures below. This is absolutely unacceptable from the $150 in unrepaid lost food. Weeks of lost time. Having to stay home from work for promised work or delivery or pickup that wasnt done. And now to have my door damaged. I just wanted to provide this update for my complaint.Business response

Hellow.This matter was settled immediately. We've already removed the fridge from his house.
