I went to Sue Ames in April 2021 and bought a Mother of the Groom dress for my sons wedding on November 13. I paid $100 on my debit card. I did not hear anything about the dress so I called the outlet in August and was told that my dress was on a boat in the water and has not come in. I never heard another word about the dress and still have not received it. I called one other time , got an answering machine and left my phone number and never got a call back. When I got back from the wedding I went to the bank to file a dispute. The outlet told them they called me several times and I never picked up the dress. She also said that her business is all sales final. She still has my money and lied about contacting me. She said she contacted me in August. How can that be possible when she told me it was on a boat in the water. She is not telling the truth. They do not answer their phone and do not call back. Such poor business practices and fraudulent at that.Business response

To Whom It May Concern:
Due to illness and covid deaths regarding family members, we have not had the opportunity to respond to your requests. Please see the enclosed sales receipts involving a Special Order requested by *** ******** ******. On April 9, 2021, *** ****** signed and approved her special order with Sue Ames Bridal Outlet. The gown was ordered and did arrive later than we expected, however, the gown was delivered to The Sue Ames the week of August 5, 2021. A call was made to the phone number on her receipt and a message was left indicating the arrival of this gown.
Please see the attached sales copies and the delivery of the **** *** gown to our main offices @ ******* by ******, Inc.. Please note, Sue Ames Bridal Outlet does not offer refunds on cancellations as indicated on our sale contracts.
