My mother, who lived in Wilmington DE, had paid Lawn Doctor for a year of service in Dec. '21 for the year 2022. My mom passed away at the end of February '22. On June 3, I contacted the owner, Sal, to be reimbursed for the unused portion which is $589.63. We still have not received this money as of 1/17/23, I have made numerous phone calls, emails and a call to customer service on 8/23/22. After the call to customer service, the owner texted me saying the check would be sent out before the end of the year. In mid-December I texted to confirm this and he confirmed that "all refund checks will be mailed by the end of the year." The owner has only answered my call a couple of times and never returned a message, but when I have talked to him he has been very rude. What else can we do to recoup this money? Attached is a copy of the deposited check, mailed on 12/31/2022 and not cashed until 2/14/23, this complaint is utterly ridiculous and false. If these accusations do not stop, I will be contacting my lawyer.Customer response
