Waste of money. They fight against what you are paying for. Save your money. They do not cover what they charge you for.Review from George K

Worst warranty I've ever had. They will accept no claims you file. After your vehicle sits at the shop for over a week an adjuster comes and still denies the claim. I've had to warranty for 8 months no claims were accepted I filed 4. I finally decided to trade the vehicle in so I paid $2,000 for the warranty when I brought the vehicle so I should get a pro rated amount of refund from the service contract according to their policy you can only get a refund of any kind if your vehicle is totaled. My advice is to stay in clear of proguard warranty company I brought my vehicle from car choice in **************. Program with recommended to be the best according to the dealer but I see they're working together as usual that's business my recommendations for proguard and Car Choice in ************** not recommended at all.Review from Lucille J

I purchased a 2018 ******** C300 from the dealership in 2023 and they sold me a warranty. I had the car checked out thoroughly, I never though I would ever have to use it, I am over 70 years old and have never went through anything like this, in early march the vehicle check engine light came on so I took it to have it tuned up,, the light still came back on so I took it to the place where I had the tune up and they put it back on the machine and told me it was my engine and I wanted a second opinion so I took it to the ******** dealership and was told the same thing, so I contacted the warranty company and was told the motor was indeed covered now I can not get anyone to call me back this has gone on since April, all I need is communication that is good business practice, my heart is broken, I am constantly paying on a vehicle that I have a warranty on my vehicle is not driveable, I do not understand why I am being persecuted like this, I need my vehicle repaired I do not want to believe they are avoiding me so they do not want to honor the warranty because I have always believed there is good in every situation but this has really broke my heart.Review from William T

Purchased a used 2015 jeep grand Cherokee after about a year the motor had failed.. I took it to the Jeep dealership which after the invoice was provided to pro guard they explained that they would not pay the bill and wanted me to get a second opinion. I took the vehicle to one of their preferred shops which doesnt work on Diesalsbut they still had me take it to them. After goin back and forth with warranty, they finally agreed to replace the engine. After engine was replaced Im now experiencing check engine lights and a poor running vehicle which I didnt have those issue before. From (March until May) i have been goin back dropping off my vehicle trying to get the issue fixed. Ive been out of a vehicle since this whole process started. Pro guard only wants you to take your vehicle to cheaper shops that can give you the run around. At this point I wanted a certified Diesal mechanic to work on my vehicle so I went back to the Jeep. The dealership instructed that I need to replace a egr cooler which is a safety hazard because if the exhaust gases dont circulate the vehicle could catch fire and cause injury to me or property damage. This egr cooler came on the engine that was supplied from pro guard, but they stated they dont cover emission parts. *** called pro guard warranty to explain this and they act like they cant help me nor do they want to help me. At this point Im not paying for a warranty that doesnt help their customer. I completely understand that somethings arent covered but if you supply a engine, why should I come out of pocket for something that was bad from the moment the shop installed the motor.. There was a recall on that specific part from Jeep but they wont cover it because the engine and vehicle vin doesnt match up. Do not do business with pro guard!!!!!! Its very frustrating that when you purchase the warranty they make it feel like your covered and dont have to worry about anything but in reality its a big scam!!!Review from Jeffrey W

Keep your distance from this company. Sleazy, poorly defined coverage left me with $4500 in repairs that should have been covered.Review from Stephanie G

I bought a car 2013 *********** from a buy here pay here dealership in August 2023. It came with a 4500 mile warranty that I thought we would never need because the car only had ****** miles on it. We drove the car less than 100 miles and it was overheating and smoke was coming out all around the engine. I am going to be honest I was worried big time we had just put $3500 dollars down on this car and now something is wrong. We took it to the shop that we were told to take it to. Now the only problem was we bought the car on a Friday and by Tuesday morning the car had left us on the side of the road. At first the policy wasn't activated yet because the dealership sent the money on Monday they didn't have it so I thought OMG what are we going to do. It took a month for the car to get fixed but they did end up paying for a whole new engine to be put in the car. I would have given more stars but it did take an ungodly amount of time for the car to finally get the approval and get fixed. They would only pay for a rental car for 4 days at $50 a day. SO I was out the for the rental for 3 weeksReview from Scott J

Bought their tier 3 warranty which is in the middle of the road. The policy states that "all internally lubricated parts" are covered. But this is only partially true. If one of those internally lubricated parts fails because of a non-covered item, you are out of luck. In my opinion, this gives most people a false sense of security thinking that they are covered when they actually are not under what I would expect to be very common situations. Mine was oil fowling the spark plugs which made the cylinder not fire. I'm thinking the cylinder is lubricated, I am good. Well, I wasn't and had to pay for almost 2.5k in repairs. Buyer beware. I would say reading the contract in detail would be good enough, but in my opinion, it is not for the average person.Review from Mike F
