My reply Hello, this is *******. I am ********'s son, and you did one of our cats, the orange rights. Correct, can we get a refund for $65.00 because we have to take the gray cat to the vet tonight you? You have done the service at **** **. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania *****. Please get back to me because the gray cat is getting worse We are going to the vet now. Hello? Because the orange cat hair wasn't like that, like the black and gray cat hair was like that when we got him back from you. I found it was a cat bite mark he got was he opened the public around other cats because when he left my house, he didn't have a cat bite mark on his neck. And the cat is getting a shot to his neck now. He might have to get surgery and treatment today or tomorrow if I get approved for the care credit today or tomorrow. I need the $65.00 refunded for the other cat because you did him right, but the other cat didn't come out directly. He had a bite on his neck when he came back home, and I will send you an invoice for the shot and surgery, and treatment. If I don't get the $65.00 back for the other cat, I might have to take legal action in court for the $65.00 and the surgery fee and treatment fee, and shot fee, but I don't want to take that route. Please text me back, and I will send you the discharge instruction sheet. And he did have a fever, they say. And his fever was 104.43. It should be around 99 to 102 to be an average temperature, they say.If you want proof of all the documents I got from the vet you can email me at *************@*****.com and I just got the procedure or the dispensed item yesterday night for $140.00 and the ******** 80MG/ML for $122.00 and I I must take you to court to get the $65.00 back for the other cat. I think I have to sue you for the filing fee and the cat damage fee because when my cat left my Appointment, theirs was no bite mark on his neck. The cats did get along before they both got spray neaturired because when I have contacted you on the return date about the infection by his ear, you claimed it would take time to hear and get better. You claim it was over the treatment, but I found out my cat needs a lot of treatment and sugary now and to let you know you are not getting the $60.00 for the black and gray cat for his injury. And I will use the news article I find out about you in court about a case about you in 2007 ******************************************************************************** Her reply ******* I'm sorry your cat is injured . Her reply However he did not receive the injury from the veterinarian trip that I provided Her reply While ion the trip or at the vets the cats are never loose with other cats. They could not injure each other Her reply Your family has not paid me for that cat so there is no refund I could make. Her reply While I no longer provide adoptions, I am permitted to transport pets to spay neuter appointments. My reply What veterinarian did they go to? My reply For the other cat, for the $65.00, you can. Her reply Your mother stated that one cat was lost outside before we took it to the vet. Was that the gray cat? My reply Yes, but he didn't have a bite mark. Her reply It's been 2 weeks since he was at the vet to be neutered. Her reply In all likelihood he was injured at your home. By wounds are not always obvious until they become infected. Her reply Did you tell Shores that he was neutered on 3/11/23. Her reply Again I sympathize that your kitty is injured but we were not the cause of his injury. Her reply I would recommend keeping the two cats separate 100% of the time because they might continue to injure each other. Her reply In the future you can have kittens fixed at 3 and 4 months of age, which would often prevent them from being quite so aggressive. It doesn't always help but waiting until they are fighting males , there's always a risk that they will injure each other. My reply Yes, I told them that he was neutered on 3/11/23, and he wasn't injured at home or injury at outside before he came home or before he got neutered or before he left and when he came back home on 3/12/23 he was injured when he came in the door my other cat wasn't injured when he came back home. Her reply The ear tip does heal by itself. This injury is not due to the ear tip. Her reply After I returned the cat to your home, your mom said the cats fought again. I recommended keeping them separate. My reply Before that injury, he wasn't bitten before he left with you. My reply And he needs a lot of treatment and sugary, the vet says. My reply And what veterinary you took the cats too? Her reply It's not possible for him to be bitten when he is in a separate cage. All the other cats are in separate cages as well. My reply Maybe it happened when he was out of the cages, and they say he did have a bite, and they did a test on him. Read the whole text message, please. Her reply The cats are only out of the cages when they have been sedated. That's why the cats must arrive in an all wire cage with small mesh, so they can give them a sedation shot right through the wire. After the cats were asleep they only then do they take them from the cage. They are also placed back in the cage before they wake up. Her reply I empathize with your dear cat's injury, but we are not responsible for that. Her reply A neck wound is not the same thing as an ear tip. My reply When he left my apartment, everything was fine with him. No injury or anything. When he came back on 3/12/23, I was not sure he was bleeding, and I called you up. You said it would improve in a few days, but it didn't. It wasn't over his bother biting him, so I am not responsible for his injuries. Someone is responsible for it. My reply What veterinarian did they go to? My reply My last step is to take legal action in court then. I am sorry I have to do this to you. Her reply The neck wound was never mentioned. The topic I was asked about was about his ear. Her reply If my car wouldn't start when I was at your house, I couldn't charge you towing fee to have it taken to a garage. Her reply His neck wound injury was not my fault. Her reply She have mentioned the neck. My reply What veterinarian did they go to? Her reply The cat's neck wound did not occur while under my transportation or at the veterinarians clinic. My reply What veterinarian did they go to? Her reply The cat's neck wound did not occur while under my transportation or at the veterinarians clinic. Her reply It does t matter as the injury did not occur at the clinic. Her reply Your mother signed a release, for both cats, that you would not hold the clinic responsible. My reply I need the veterinarian you took the cats to. Her reply They only provide spay and neuter care. They do not treat cats other than for the spay/neuter surgery. My reply How can I get a copy of the release form she was supposed to sign? Her reply It is irrelevant because the injury did not occur at the vets. My reply Can you provide me a copy of the release form she was supposed to sign? I need—the veterinarian name you were supposed to take the cats. Her reply I don't have access to it the clinic is closed. My reply Okay, I just guess I have to risk taking it to court and let the judge decide what to do. My reply I would think a better use for your money would be towards getting care for your cat. You never paid me anything for the second cat. You admitted the cat was loose before you gave it to me. Often when cats get bite wounds, or fight wounds the skin heals over quickly but the infection stays underneath until it bursts open. Wow it's very sad that your kitty has a bite wound, in no way is it my fault nor the fault of the clinic. It's very disheartening to me that people don't want to accept responsibility and want to place blame on others. The original plan was for me to take both cats in one trip, however cat b was not available because it was out outside probably getting in fights and looking for sex. I hope your cat will feel better getting the ******** shot today. My vet suggests offering the cat several different types of canned food, small servings, and adding water to the canned food to increase fluid intake. Just a suggestion. I am not a vet My reply Explain this news article link about you, please. ******************************************************************************** Her reply I no longer provide adoptions. I am allowed to transport pets, I'm allowed to own pets, I'm not permitted to take them to find homes for them. Her reply I can actually own any number of cats or dogs but I only want to have as many that I can provide food and vet care for. If a cat comes on our property we immediately trap it fix it and then release it. Most often we never see it again but if they stay around, that's fine too. When people learned that I had pets for adoption, sometimes people abandoned them at my property. I did find homes for about 200 dogs and 100 cats a year. My reply Okay My reply I will just handle it in court My reply Did you take the cats to ******** **** Foundation? My reply I am at the vet again because he is getting worse and getting more treatment. I will send you more proof, like the invoice, and he might need feature treatment later. I will keep you updated. My reply More proof the new discharge instruction sheet My reply More proof the new discharge instruction sheet My reply The invoice paid the bill for care credit for $407.16, and today he had another fever. Her reply The neck wound he is being treated for was in all likely hood received from fighting with another cat. When I picked up the first cat, the second cat was unavailable because it was outside. When I returned the first cat, your mom called saying that the cats were fighting and my advice was to keep them separate. This has nothing to do with the vet trip, or the neutering at the clinic. While I am sorry that he is injured, that is not our fault. Bite wounds and fight wounds often heal at the skin but the infection can stay underneath, until it bursts through the skin as an abscess. While the skin has healed and before the abscess bursts, you would not know that he had a wound. Well I transport them and when at the vets, the cats are never in the position where they can get harmed by other cats. Vet care is expensive. I recently paid $780 for surgery on my dog, but he is worth it My reply When he left my apartment, everything was fine with him. No injury or anything. When he came back on 3/12/23, I was not sure he was bleeding, and I called you up. You said it would improve in a few days, but it didn't. It wasn't over his bother biting him, so I am not responsible for his injuries. Someone is responsible for it. My reply I will just take it up with you in court and Her reply she left this to my mom voicemail “Hello ******** him I'm sorry your kitty has a bite _?_?_?_?_ but he definitely did not get it while he was at the vets and him I'm permitted to transport cats to the vet I'm not allowed to do adoptions but I'm definitely doing illegal things and I'm transporting cats doing from the vet but I'm sorry your cat got injured him I thought you said two cats went to two different houses it might be best if he separate them again since they are adults it might be hard for them to learn to get along and not continue to injure each other but he definitely did not get injured at the vets during my trip to the vet good luck bye for now…” Her reply to my mom text message Hi ******** Sorry your cat was injured but his neck wound is not the fault of my transportation or the clinic's care. The neck wound he is now being treated for was, in all likely hood, received from fighting with another cat, either outside or indoors When I picked up the first cat, the second cat was unavailable because he was OUTSIDE. When I returned the first cat, your mom texted saying that the cats were FIGHTING worse and my advice was to keep them separate. This has nothing to do with the vet trip, or the neutering at the clinic. While I am sorry that he has a NECK wound, that is not our fault. Bite wounds and fight wounds often heal at the skin but the infection can stay underneath, until it's bursts through the skin as an abscess. During the time after the bite, the skin often heals and before the abscess bursts, no one would know that he had a wound. When I transport cats and when at the vets, the cats are never in the position where they can get harmed by other cats. Vet care is expensive. I recently paid $780 for surgery on my dog, but he is worth it. Mom my reply to her text message It's wasn't over a cat flight. The issues happen when the cat came back from you. That's what before he came in the door he was already injury I got proofs and all the documents from the vet. When We can handle this in court Her reply to my mom text after my mom text Your text to me after cats were returned Hey this is ******** my cat is acting very funny now sence he got the surgery done on him his brother came back last night and the only thing he's been doing now is crying trying too bite him fight him and trying too hump him Lol Her reply text to me The neck wound he is now being treated for was in all likely hood received from fighting with another cat either outside or indoors When I picked up the first cat, the second cat was unavailable because he was OUTSIDE. And the FTC forbids the use of fake testimonials.Oct 25, 2021 Reply to her from me Then how will he get inquiry before he comes in the door then, and for the other cat, nothing was wrong with him when he came in the door! My reply to her And she sent you a picture of his neck the same day he came back, and he did need a lot of treatments and more soon! My reply text to her As I say, we can handle this in court with you and the Nobody's cats foundation. Have a nice day. Her reply back to me Bite word probably happened at your house when they were fighting or when he was outside. Her text from 3.9.23 which is before I took the gray cat, said that they were fighting and biting. The skin heals up quickly but the bacteria and pus can be under the skin. Gradually the bacteria and pus build up and soften the skin, and then it bursts open at a later date when the pus and blood comes out It's usually not possible to see a bite wound that has healed before it gets bigger and bursts open. My reply text message On 3/9/23, when he left no bite mark, and when he came in on 3/9/23 at my door, theirs was a mark, and I got all the proof to win my case! And who did the all service when my pet got inquiry was ****** Veternary Emergency Center *** *** ****** ***** Harrisburg PA ***** phone number is ###-###-#### And her reply The only photograph I received from either you or your mother was the one that shows his neck wound that was texted on Sunday am. 3.26.23. Your phone call of the middle of the night said that his ear tip was bleeding. That is not the case. And my reply There was more information sent to you on 3.26.26 and 3/9/23. Her reply to me I did not receive any other pictures of your cat. Please stop referring to the injury as his ear tip. It is his neck bite wound that is requiring care. #1 your mother put it in writing that the cat was outside before I provided transportation. # 2 your mother put it in writing that the cats were fighting and biting on the 9th. **************************************************************************** My reply to her One # when the cat was outside, he didn't get injured. It only happened when he came back in the door after his treatment, and. #2. The bit didn't have anything to do with it. He already had the bite when she called you. I got all the documents from the vet and proofed all the texts message I sent you, and she does too! Her reply text message back to my mom reply back to her **************** And her reply text message back to me Read the article about cat bite wounds and abscesses My reply texts message back to her I will, but I will still take it to court. Have a nice day. Her reply to me There is absolutely no way the cats could receive bite wounds when they are kept separate in cages, and only out of the cages when they're sedated. That's fact My reply back to her Why do you say have a nice day? That seems very false to me: Because I will handle everything in court, and it is accurate, and I got proof! And her reply to me **************************************************************************** My reply back to her It is better to deal with it in court than over text messages! Her reply to me These punctures rapidly seal over, trapping bacteria from the biting cat's mouth under the skin of the victim, where they can readily multiply. The infection may go unnoticed for several days until swelling and pain at the puncture site develop. My reply to her As I said, everything is better to be done in court. Have a nice day. Bye, I got all his treatment and paperwork on his injuries! My mom reply we can handle everything in court bye. My shores veterinary emergency center billing information is ******* ******** *** Appt *** Harrisburg PA ***** And my mom ******** **** foundation billing information ******** ****** *** **** ** Harrisburg PA ***** And ***** ****** who own Angel Pets Transporter isn't listed in the State Board of Veterinary Medicine under ****** ****** or under Angels pets Transporter Her business name is ****************************************************** ******** *** Foundation ******** page **************************************************** Her reply text to me This is the emissions form your mother signed for the cats. I do not have access to the one that she signed My reply text to me Can you get access to the one she signed? Her reply text to my mom This is the admission form your mother signed for the cats. Her reply to me Correction Admission form not emission form and this Did you read the article about bite wounds? Or does it not matter to you? My reply text message to her I did read it wasn't injured when it came back home or when I gave given it to you to do service on him. I noticed the bite mark after I got him out of the cage. The cat biting him didn't have anything to do with it. I am 100% sure. As I said, I will take legal action against whoever fault it was because it was not my fault or my mom's fault, or the other cat who bit him before it got taken out of the cage when the mark was already there. Her reply Your mother text me that the cats were biting fighting and humping on 3.9.23. That would have been the right timing for a bite wound to seal over and then open up on the 11th. My reply to her That was after we noticed the mark after taking him out of the cage, so it couldn't be my other cat-biting his reason. Her reply to me this she was getting smart and being mean and smart this time Read the description of the abscess again on the vet article. Fight wounds often seal over and then open up after several days. Are you just trying to be difficult? You said you read the article. The article says that you often cannot find the bite wounds immediately after they occur, but if they abscess they will open up days later. They can also heal over again and continue to open up. You don't sound like and someone who can't read and you stated that you did read it. I do not understand how you cannot comprehend what occurred. If you compare the chances of a cat being injured outside / when fighting and biting another cat inside versus a cat being injured when in a cage, it is a no-brainer. My reply to her I can read. First, I got all the vet's papers from today and yesterday night, and I already sent you everything for proof, and I am going by what the vet told me, so I guess we got to take this to court now. Bye, have a nice day. My boyfriend / partner in life broke his neck earlier this month while playing with our dog, is currently hospitalized unable to use his hands to feed himself or use a phone, so our life mission of reducing cat overpopulation / homelessness, and essentially everything else in our lives, has been severely effected.
The uncontrolled breeding of cats, the rapid growth in their overpopulation, is beyond most people's comprehension.
Since no cats were fixed in the USA in 2020 for about 5 months, their breeding has accelerated terribly. I'm 68 years old and I've never seen cat overpopulation, suffering and homelessness as horrible as it is now.
We learned that we cannot adopt our way out of this cat crisis, so we worked to reduce cat suffering and homelessness by encouraging and facilitating spaying and neutering.
This is not a paid position,
I am a client of ************* and a volunteer with them, but we do not get paid.
I did not have a business relationship with ******** or *******. What I did with helping to get their cats neutered was volunteerism. And the fees charged by the spay neuter clinics are just a small portion of the actual costs involved with the programs.
During COVID, to reduce handling of checks cash and credit cards, ************* began charging all the day's fees on to my credit card, and then when able, the spay neuter clients re pay me.
I actually had a separate credit card made up and ************* keeps that in their office. I trust ************* and ************* trusts me.
We were able to provide help for appointment scheduling and cat transportation for those who do not have vehicles or do not have the ability to bring cats to the clinic and pick them up at the set times required, and who do not have required cages / traps.
On the paperwork, I'm listed as AngelPets transporter, because I was the one that made the appointments.
When we transport cats to spay neuter clinics, the cat must be confined in an all wire, small mesh carrier or a live trap of specific dimensions. This enables the staff to administer a sedation injection thru the wire so there is no risk of any staff getting bitten or any cat escaping.
The cat is not removed from the cage until after its sedated, and then is returned to the cage before its awake.
This way even the most frightened or aggressive cats can be safely cared for. The cats are never loose and never in a position to bite or be bitten by another cat.
Cats are ear tipped for breeding status identification. The removal of the tip of a cats' left ear (while under anesthesia) is a sign that the cat had a rabies vaccination and is sterilized. Ear tipping provides a permanent, visual way to know which cats are fixed and which ones still need our help..
When ******** (*******'s mother) first contacted me, she stated that she had two adult male cats and needed them neutered asap, but had no transportation and no cages.
I arranged two appointments for her cats, but when I went to pick them up, she explained that one cat lived at her mothers home elsewhere, had gotten outside, could not be found, and so she only had one cat for me to take. I would have preferred to have both cats available to save time and transportation cost but that doesn't always work out.
I arrived with my empty carrier and stayed in my van.
******** got the cage out of the back of my vehicle, took the carrier back into her home, placed her Cat A in the carrier, then brought her cat out to my van. ******** signed the clinic consent form. Cat A was neutered on 3/7/23 and returned to her.
On 3/9/23 I received a text that stated
"Hey this is ******** my cat is acting very funny now since he got the surgery done on him his brother came back last night and the only thing he's been doing now is crying trying too bite him fight him and trying too hump him lol."
I called her, asked her how long the cats were living separately, and she answered that it was a month.
I told her to immediately separate them because even if cats lived together in the past, if separated and reunited, many will fight and can hurt each other.
We scheduled an appointment for Cat B.
I arrived with my empty carrier and stayed in my van.
******** took the carrier back into her home, placed her cat B in the carrier, then brought her cat out to my van. ******** signed the clinic consent form. Cat B was neutered on 3/11/23 and returned to her.
They contacted me shortly after Cat B returned and said that Cat Bs ear tip was bleeding. I said that sometimes happens, but the bleeding would stop.
I heard nothing from them for two weeks, till 3/26/23 when ******* called at about 1:30 am to say the cats ear was bleeding. I had never before heard of an "ear tipped" ear bleeding after 2 weeks.
That's because this time it was not a bleeding ear tip, instead it was an abscessed wound on the cat's face/ cheek that had ruptured and was draining.
While it is sad that their cat was injured, the fact is that the cat B was loose outdoors unsupervised before being neutered. It is very likely this sexually mature male cat could have been fighting and received injuries during this time.
It is fact that Cat B later fought with their other cat while inside their home. Injury might have incurred at this time, or any other time the cats were able to fight.
And it is fact that the cats during transport or while at the clinic are never in the position to bite or be bitten by other cats.
Bite wounds can seal over quickly, so may not be visible. Only later when the abscess ruptures thru the skin and drains is the owner aware.
I tried to explain to this to ******* , but he was not receptive.
This is an informative article about cat bite wounds.
****************************************************************************
Again we empathize with the cat and ********/*******, but the cat's injuries and the resulting veterinarian expenses were not caused by our transportation of the cat nor were they caused by *************.Photo of cage used for transportation and confinement at the clinic (see attached)
