Purchased a home from this company in 2020 and in the subsequent years, these are the issues we’ve encountered with their substandard workmanship and use of cheap and inferior materials. 1. The deck which was painted gray and has since begun to bow , rot and deteriorate. I suspect they used untreated 1x1 pine shiplap. Did not use pressure treated wood as is expected for an exterior deck. (5k estimate to replace) 2. Prior to purchasing the home a tree fell on the house. They “repaired” the damage by using spliced joists and beams. 3. The upstairs toilet was incorrectly installed and created a slow leak which caused the bathroom below to collapse. This happened within the first 6 months. (6k repair) 4. ALL paint used throughout the house did not contain primer. The exterior of the house is flaking, the interior walls are peeling. The bathroom sheet rock has begun to bubble and absorb moisture. One bathroom is so bad that we can’t use it because it now has a hole near the baseboard from contact with water. Using Substandard paint will destroy sheet rock. 5. Exterior window sills are rotting. Not using pressure treated wood (1x2 spliced together) and paint container no primer or sealant are to blame. This is my short list of issues with this builder’s work. They have no business in this line of work. My family and I feel cheated and robbed by purchasing a home from such unscrupulous builders that put profit before taking pride in doing things right. Please pay attention and seriously consider before purchasing from them. It will cost you more than the sticker price.
