Mr. Esola was hired to do work in my basement starting 11/2020. He provided an invoice for $5000.00 total and asked for a deposit of $2500.00 which was paid via check #*** (and cashed). Mr. Esola did not complete the work listed nor did he do enough work to justify the deposit given. Instead, he kept stalling each time I reached out via text and calls (all saved on my phone). He claimed he was busy with other jobs but this pattern continued for months and months until my last text on 2/8/21 when I expressed my frustration with the work still left to be completed as it was part of an insurance claim. He essentially took half of the money from my insurance company and did nothing to repair the list of items on the invoice. I want my deposit back as I had to seek out another contractor to do the work and had to pay out of pocket for the money Mr. Esola took from me.Customer response
