I was a client at CCG Reading from Jan 2014 til May 2022 I struggled greatly in my first few yrs there as I have an extensive criminal history, trust issues and never really worked on myself. I failed 2 polygraphs and went back to prison and then was violated again in Jan 2016 After my second violation I found a program called ACA. Adult children of Alcoholics / dysfunctional families. That helped me immensely. I was finally able to tell the truth and not shame myself but CCG would shame me and others relentlessly. Meanwhile I passed five polygraphs from 2016 until March of 2021 when I failed one. When you fail a polygraph they don't want to hear anything except for you're out there doing things you should not be doing. For me it was about shame and guilt. I am in a committed relationship and have an organization where we help those in need but I sexually objectify I took the responsibility and did the work on myself. I went from 3 hours of therapy a month to 10 with the hope that once I passed another polygraph I would get my life back. I passed my next polygraph in August. I talked extensively with the polygrapher about the shame and guilt I deal with and it was the cleanest polygraph I've ever passed My life never went back to normal. When I asked for a clinical reason of why I was going to so much therapy they said because I was a danger to the community because I work with the community. I said that's funny, I have been working with the community for over 3 years and the only difference is I failed a polygraph Finally I had to go over their head and reach out to the head of parole and other entities. They finally allow me to switch groups. I also have a complaint in to my insurance company of why they were paying for extra therapy sessions without a clinical reason and am in the process of looking for a civil attorney This place does not care about their clients or their employees. They work for the system and they use the guise, we're protecting the community
