Kyle at Phelps Nursery convinced me to have the trees I purchased planted by them as it is guaranteed if they fail. Both trees failed. I contacted Phelps Nursery in April and was asked to send pictures via their email. I did this twice and they never responded. I came to their placed of business four times, each time speaking with the owner. He wrote up the issue and assured me that the issue would be taken care of. I would not have to show up four (4) times if his word was kept. I called again, three different times. The only time I was able to speak with someone was when i asked do I need to file a complaint with the Magistrate then I spoke with Kyle. He reviewed the items that I purchased including the hydrangeas which were also planted by the nursery. He then notified me that I must produce the receipt to get a replacement. I notified him that after planting I never received a receipt as it was very late at night when the planting was completed. He said we always give a receipt. How did he know that I had hydrangeas planted if he was not reading from the actual receipt they keep for themselves as these were never mentioned in any conversation. I have the checks and payment verifications to prove purchases but at this point I disgusted and sick to my stomach at the thought of any more communication.
