Big issues 1.) The biggest issue being that there was alcohol given prior to anybody sitting down. I have never seen this happen at an event. This resulted in an entire children’s table being given alcohol which they all consumed . And to make matters worse some of them were even refilled. It has been utterly embarrassing to have to explain to the parents of those children what happened. And they were not happy. 2.) An event venue you should be prepared with gasoline and your generators. There was absolutely no need for it to be so long without power. I know that you don’t have control of nature but you do have control of your generators which you chose not to keep filled. 3.) I am unsure why I was not made aware of the toilets not being able to flush. That is so unbelievably unsanitary that I don’t even know where to start with that one. My mother who is disabled had to go into a dark bathroom and try to maneuver herself to use it. Aside from my disabled mother, there were several children and just people in general who had to use the bathroom in a porta potty style. I don’t understand why The bathroom wasn’t connected to the generator. And this was surely not the experience we had paid for. Small issues 1.) I have never seen a bar staff so miserable in my life. She honestly had made so many of my guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and it was embarrassing for me. We are an industry family and definitely did not appreciate being treated the way she treated them. 2.) Staff in general seemed unprepared and frankly scared to approach the boss. This is unacceptable. It seemed like this was the first wedding that the staff had thrown. I will give it to Rachel that she did try maybe just a little bit. But again I do not believe she was experienced enough to handle the events that took place. 3.) clean up happening so aggressively and an hour early made most of the people feel like they needed to leave. Which resulted in my sparkler send off being so small
