I processed my withdrawal last October 17, 2024 on 12PM EST amounting to $353.53 with transaction ID *******. Initially the estimated transfer date was October 18, 2024. I already reached out to them with regards to this and they told me to wait until the end of 18th but when I checked my Guru account, they change the estimated transfer date to October 21, 2024. I tried reaching out to them asking whats the reason for moving it far back. I already contacted them on ******** messenger but my message left on seen. Just now I reported the issue on their website they just told me to wait for October 21 and then contact them if its still not credited. However, thats what I initially did. I waited for them to credit it on 18th only for them to push it back to 21st. What if they change again the estimated date to far back after 21st? Will they just tell me to wait again? I am reaching out because I badly needed the fund and I dont get the necessary explanation why are they holding my fund and whats the reason for changing the estimated delivery date. I need answers and I want them to expedite my case. Please help me. This has caused me a lot of stress already.Initial Complaint

I am a freelancer on Guru.com, offering admissions essay editing services. Between 6th and 14th march 2022, after completing 2 orders worth $150, I was prompted to verify my ID, credit card, and address. The verification prompt only came up when I had earned the money. However, after successfully providing all the info needed, and sending a few follow-up messages, I realized that I can not log in to my account. No email or communication was done concerning the status of my verification after uploading and re-uploading all the requested files. No calls, no nothing. But I could not log in. I called on 17th, and I was informed that my account is locked by the risk management team, and nothing can be done about it. I asked for the reasons for closure because I had uploaded all the documents and the support agent told me that they are not in a position to answer that. I feel like, and I am certain that Guru.com is trying to swindle me off $150. Why would they close my account and fail to communicate? Will they refund the buyer the monies paid for the two orders because there are additional details I was supposed to add, and now I can't do that, and cant communicate with the client because I am locked out? It was a waste of time working with guru.com
