Had an insurance policy held by CHUBB through my financial institution, but I wanted to cancel it. Therefore, I pull out my policy, went to the website, but my policy number was not recognized and they gave me a number to call for tech support. I called the number, the nice customer service person gave me the customer service number for **********************. When I called the first representative looked up my information and transferred me to the department to cancel my policy. That is when all the issues started. I stayed on hold for over an hour with it saying "you are the first person in line, if you would like to be called back press #". They never came on line, I needed to do something else so I pressed the #, they called right back in 2 minutes, I put them on speakerphone, and started explaining what I needed. That representative was the worse I have ever experienced because she didn't listen. I told her that I had a policy with CHUBB, the numbers I called and how I got to her. I got so frustrated with her because she kept telling I didn't have a policy, and her telling me to stop yelling, but I wasn't yelling, just on speakerphone. I finally hung up and called my financial intuition to stop all payments to for the policy. Two weeks later I received a letter from a company I never heard of, *******************************, stating I owed them for the policy. I called them and they confirmed that I indeed had a policy with CHUBB and that they handle the billing for it. When I called CHUBB and gave them my name, policy number, and the name of the financial institution group plan, she should have been able to find my policy and if she couldn't cancel it, give me the number to call to cancel it, which is not in the original policy. CHUBB is running the **** where the customer gets frustrated and decides to just keep the policy. Make sure to call your insurance and ask them who handles the billing for it. 2 hours of trying to cancel a policy and it wasn't done until 4 weeks later.Review from Andy L

Our company has had a very difficult time with Chubb.We had a workers comp policy with them and they included the owners in the policy when the owners were meant to be excluded. We found out that our agent had possibly wrongly listed our company as a Corporation rather than an LLC and that's why we were included. Despite multiple attempts to correct this issue we have had no success. Chubb has sent collections and a law firm after us when they are the ones that have not been working with us. Their customer service and policies seem to intentionally make corrections difficult. So far I have probably dealt with over two hours on the phone with customer service and 50 emails regarding the issue with no success. It feels like I should be having my attorney contacting them rather than theirs.Review from Maria S

My wife was hit three weeks ago rear ended and still waiting for them to do anything. no car she is still hurt . they won't answer the phone. a complete nightmare.Review from Isabel C

One star is generous. It took 11 months to resolve my claim despite it being a clear cut example of when travel insurance should kick in. After dealing with an unforeseen illness (with no preexisting condition), a canceled honeymoon, and mounting medical bills, this claims process to get a refund so we could rebook our honeymoon (which I thought would be straightforward) ended up being a slap in the face that often brought me to tears. We're talking $17,000 meaning we could not rebook our honeymoon until a claim was paid out. It seems like no fewer than a dozen people handled our claim, each offering contradictory or circular requests and next steps. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was polite and sympathetic, but it was a different person every single time and it felt like my claim never moved forward without me calling for an update. I was told there were over 100 documents in my file by the end which would make me laugh because they kept requesting the same things over and over again. I ended up receiving a claims result with a random number that I can't even tie out to the initial claim I submitted. Nothing itemized to show how the final payout amount was reached and which expenses were declined. I followed up for clarification (perhaps an EOB) on December 4, 2023 and still have not heard back. I have thrown my hands in the air in exasperation after being left out $5,000 after a year of back and forth. Ironically, the longer it took them, the more the travel credits we did receive would expire, so it ended up costing them way more than if they'd been able to handle the claim quickly. I suppose I should be grateful for what I got, but I consider it very shady given I pay $550 a year for this credit card benefit. It's unacceptable, bordering on fraudulent.Review from Holly H

I certainly hope that any executives in the banking industry that are in a position to choose a carrier for their benefits pay heed to all of these complaints. This company is nothing short of impossible to deal with. In my case, I am going to give up my annual fee credit card and terminate my banking relationship with the company that provided me this so-called benefit. It is absolutely not worth the hassle. If you think you are adding benefits for your customer base, you are absolutely not. It may come back and bite you. If there's an alternative, I strongly recommend you consider them.Review from jonathan p

I am paying 400 annually for me credit card. One of the benefits is buyer protection through card benefit services. My camera was stolen in another country and my claim was flat out denied because I couldn’t get a police report from the country.Review from Alyson F

This company is used by Hertz rental as a third party adjuster. We got into an accident over 3 weeks ago and they continuously tell us to wait 7 more days for our claim to be processed. Meanwhile we are left with no car due to their renter hitting us extremely hard. We need a rental car and we need our car fixed!! This is inhumane. We are in the age of technology advancements… why does entering a few letters into text boxes take 4 weeks to do? This company has terrible customer service.Review from Erik B

This company is a nightmare to deal with and I would not trust them with the benefits they claim to provide with your credit card. The company provided me with incorrect information that directly led to me having to pay for collision and damage insurance that should have been waived, and then refused to take ownership of the mistake and instead just said it would be used as a “coaching opportunity” for the employee giving out incorrect information to customers. Most companies with legitimate customer service are quick to make up for mistakes that cost their customers money, but this company feels more like a scam, they are used as a marketing opportunity for the credit card companies with little actual substance.Review from Kevin D

On website "Manage claims with peace of mind" is a fault advertisement and so if credit card said trip cancellation cover don't fall for it. It only work if it serious illness (death) in family so be warn. I would rate 0 start.
