Unsure how even possible, but appears good ol' felons ********* and ***** got their former reviews removed, but they can rest assured I check regularly to ensure they are returned.********* and ***** appeared a kind, fun and approachable couple found via a local contractor search and despite their 'website' had focus on a single gazebo construction and landscaping, assured me they were also licensed and bonded contractors and were advertised as such on multiple websites. What followed was a nightmare summed below as the character limit will not allow the necessary space to explain the absolute hellscape these two created with their ineptitude and dishonesty:* Failed to complete a quoted 2-week bathroom remodel (had full, 14 hour access to the site 7 days a week) after 1.5 months of 'work' and receiving over 50% of the job down payment up front and full funding of materials cost.* ***************** would often show up 5+ hours late, or not at all, and clearly 'double-booked' jobs as she would often take calls on my porch during one of her *many* cigarette breaks and could be heard lying to other clients as to why she was not at their job site 'as scheduled.' * ********* was once caught lying to a client while taking a cigarette break on my porch that she had 'broken her back and laid up in the hospital.' When caught, she tried to laugh it off and claimed the client was a 'jerk' and she 'preferred to work with me,' ignoring the fact she double- booked work for that day.* When fired, ***** and ********* fought to keep working and had to be threatened with action of police intervention before leaving.* Once a capable contractor came in after ********* and *****, they found Starlite had left the shower drain disconnected despite the floor in place, which would have resulted in buckets of water falling into the lower unit ceiling at first use of the shower,AVOID THESE TWO, THEY ARE CRIMINALS, LITERALLY.
