I purchased a "New" Glock G43x from Elk County Ammo & Arms on July 23, 2021. I have not used the firearm and it sat in my safe until last week. I took it out and inspected it more thoroughly to realize that it had a few issues: - It was not new, it clearly had been used - Aftermarket cheap parts had been used to replace Glock OEM parts. -the barrel nose was crooked and had minor cracks I sent the pistol into Glock under a warranty investigation. They verified that the pistol would have been a liability had it been shot as it would not have been safe. They verified that the internal parts also had significant wear indicating the firearm was not new. As you can see from the receipt this was sold in New condition. Because Glock OEM parts had been replaced, the warranty was voided. Per my conversation with a Glock rep, they are not able to return the pistol due to liability. As a result, I am not out the $519.99 I paid for the item. I have included the receipt for my online purchase from Elk County Ammo & Arms. I can also provide the FFL transfer form, showing the transfer to me from the FFL the item was shipped to. I am also awaiting a written letter from Glock confirming they destroyed the pistol due to the liability issue. I can provide that as a follow up, once received. Thank you for the assistance. -**** ****Business response

The pistol that was sold to **** was purchased from in a lot of 10 from one of our Glock Distributors. We received these pistols on 05/20/22, your order was placed on 05/28/22 and shipped the next day to his dealer. This was a brand new in the box firearm as it was shipped to us. We reached out to Glock, and they were able to confirm the manufacture date of 02/12/19. Many distributors order Glock firearms in very large volumes and it is possible for them to have firearms in their warehouse for years before all units are sold to retailers. Glock was also able to also confirm that this firearm was replaced under their warranty for a bent and cracked nose ring. They stated that the only way that this can occur is when the slide is dropped on a hard surface while it is removed from the pistol. Glock was able to resolve all these issues by replacing the firearm with an upgraded model that was shipped out to his local FFL dealer. Whatever may have happened to this pistol to cause this damage is something that occurred while it was outside of our possession. Nevertheless, had we been made aware at any point in time of the issues with this firearm we would have been more than willing to assist in the warranty process or would have replaced the firearm with an additional unit. The attached document was provided by Glock as documentation and evidence of them replacing the original firearm in question.
