      Originally ordered a communion dress on January 25th, 2022 for $234.00. I was told 5 weeks later that the dress would not be coming in, and the store offered to order me a second dress for $138 and would refund me the difference. Today is April 20th, 2022 and I have not received the refund for the difference. I had emailed and said if the second dress was not in by Wednesday, April 13th I would like a full refund, which the store agreed. I have since emailed 3 times requesting the refund and have not received it. I was told yesterday, April 19th, 2022 that I would receive it by the EOD and did not.

       My name is Kelly M**********, and I am the owner of Hopscotch Children's Apparel. Shockingly, I just received your letter with the complaint from **. ************** Thank you for giving me the option to explain.

      She is correct in all information that she stated, aside from the refund. She was indeed refunded, via ***** on April 21, 2022 in the amount of $236.00. Image attached. Please let me explain what occurred with her dress.

      The original dress that she ordered on Jan. 25th was from a company that I use located in Poland. The ship time on the dresses is typically about 14 business days to arrive to me. After the dress didnt arrive, I contacted the company, and they told me that they were unable to make the dress in the size that she needed because there was too much dress for it to be made into such a small size. They said that if she wanted another dress, they would expedite the shipping due to the issue with the first dress. I relayed this information to ****************, and she ordered another dress. Despite the fact that I was told the dress would be expedited, it STILL has not arrived to me. I understand *************** 'frustration, but there is nothing that I can personally do, as I'm not in control of shipping the dress. The company told me it was shipped, but it's not here. I was hoping the dress would arrive, so I waited a bit for the refund. On 4/21 she was refunded. 

      ON a side note: *************** messaged me, repeatedly, almost daily asking about the dress since the day that she ordered it. Now, to see that she made this complaint with the BBB is infuriating, especially since she was refunded for the dress. I am a one man band, and the fact that I did EVERYTHING I could for her, is just frustrating.
