ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC OFFICE STAFF. We had a wonderful experience at the dentist with my three boys 4 and under. They could not have been nicer while there. We have private insurance and all three boys were on it. They get a free cleaning a year. So I did not know that there was an issue with my youngest sons cleaning. No one called me to try to figure it out. ZERO communication. I missed a bill MONTHS later that I thought was for my other dentist because I had something I had to pay for. I didn't realize it was for my sons dentist and that they were charging me for a cleaning. I got a notice VIA TEXT that all my appointments were canceled due to a $150 balance that I missed the one bill. I explained it was my mistake and that I thought it was for my other dentist because theirs should have been covered. They didn't give me any time to try to resolve with my insurance. Refused to talk to me via text as they started. I called multiple times and made left multiple voicemails and they would not call me back. I was trying to call to pay them the money they said I owed. But they would scan the calls and ignore me and not respond to any of my communications. Then sent it to collections. When I kept trying to call and pay them! But they refused to pick up their phone. Tried to call again to talk to them they picked up and were so rude to me and actually got me confused with another patient. As I was trying to talk to them about it they hung up on me. I never raised my voice, cussed or anything. I just was trying to talk to them about it. I called back again and my call was ignored again. This is absolutely insane and unethical.Business response

Here at Geshay Pediatric Dentistry, we always strive to give our BEST! We had tried to reach out to this family since last December 2023 when their insurance denied for the one child. We sent statements to her home for the next 7 months with NO RESPONSE. We sent a pre-collection letter in May 2024 to give her a chance to take care of the past due balance before we canceled any future appointments. When that didn't get any attention, we then text the family that we had canceled any appointments due to 0 communication from her. Only after we were canceling appts did she finally reach out to our office via text. She then acted like she didn't know what office we even were? She stated she did go elsewhere to another office and thought she was talking to them. We explained AGAIN that this was Geshay Pediatric Dentistry. She then stated that she would contact us to pay the balance and after another 6 weeks passed we finally sent her to collections. There were never calls that were not returned etc...We would've wanted to get her balance resolved as well. We wish her well at her next Dental Office.
