5/4/22 I hired Eagles Tree Services to come out and cut down some trees on our property. The crew arrived on time and started working along the side of the property. They honored the first part of our contract by cutting down all trees covered in ivy, removal of trees on the front lawn and all shrubs/bushes from the left side of the property. By the time they reached the back yard it seemed as if they were rushing to get everything done. The crew started cutting down trees and could not keep up with cutting the trunks into logs and moving them alongside the property line as discussed. So they started just piling them up in the backyard. The contract states that they would clean the backyard as discussed and place logs along the right side of the property neatly. The attached images will show this not being the case. They said their truck got stuck in the backyard due to mud which delayed them from properly cleaning. But they said they would come back and finish the job. Unfortunately, I ended up paying them in full. I was already overwhelmed and under a lot of stress by the way they were leaving the property. He had 5 guys there and I was outside with my baby. I tried to pay him $3000 and hold $500 until the job was completed but he would not take any less than the full total. I wanted to avoid any confrontation so just gave them the full amount of $3,500 per the contract. They were referred to me by a neighbor and I have seen their work so I naively went along and trusted *** when he said he would be back. Since 5/6 I have been calling them and have been getting the run around - the ground is too wet - we're busy - didn't see your call - left my phone in the truck. As a paying customer I would like to be prioritized as well. Eventually **** texted me back on 5/25 saying they can come back out to clean up for an additional $1,500. But this is something they should have completed the first time around and completed their part of the contract
