Low quality leads for jobs aggregated from a variety of sources. Clicking through to apply to jobs seems impossible, I'm not sure I ever successfully applied to a lead via Lensa. Very aggressive emails. No easy way to unsubscribe and close my account, I’ve tried for months.

We discovered a job listing for our company, *************, which we did not authorize. Upon several attempts to contact the business and multiple contact forms submitted, we've not been able to get a response. The position listed is currently fulfilled and needs to be taken down.

I want to extend my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused by the recent job listing associated with *************. Please rest assured that we take your concerns seriously and have taken immediate action to address the matter.
Upon receiving your communication on July 21st, outlining the concerns related to the job listing for *************, our team sprang into action. Company makes unsubscribing from emails extremely hard. It is unclear how to unsubscribe and make emails stop, even though I have unsubscribed on their website days ago. They purposefully make it very difficult to stop their force feed spam mail for their users. It is extremely annoying and bad business practice.

      Business response

      01/30/2023

Hey there - thank you for reaching out! Jobseekers can unsubscribe through our support team by emailing support@lensa.com or filling out our contact form on our website, as well as by replying to any of the emails we send. Our system received the account that was created with your email address with the name and job preferences provided at the time of registration. Still, these data can be changed at any point in the Account Center should a jobseeker wish to. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused by this matter and hope your job search is going well!

I have make numerous requests for Lensa to stop sending me emails. Some of these attempts have included unsubscribing from their email lists at least twice a week and deleting my account with their website. I have continued to receive several emails every single day. I would like this harassment to stop. Thank you for your time.

I have never utilized Lensa Inc. as a source for a job and I keep getting emails from them. I probably receive 4 to 6 emails a day. This seems like harassment and is a complete overkill with the emails. If you are sending out emails and the person is obviously not replying to them or using your company at all, over many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many weeks, stop emailing them.

Hello ***** - thank you for your review. We'd like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. Having checked your details in our records, it seems that our dedicated jobseeker support team handled your unsubscribe request in less than a day. You signed up to receive job alerts from Lensa through one of our job site partners, this was explained via email. You should not be receiving any further communication from us in the future as per your unsubscribe request which was adhered to straight away. We hope that your job search is smooth and successful. Best of luck!

I browsed *** ******* for some P/T jobs in which I DID NOT sign up for anything, except enter my email address. I received an email from Sophie that read, "Thank you for signing up with Lensa". Within a day I start receiving floods of emails from Sophie H****, Career Advocate at Lensa. My first reply to Sophie on June 7, 2022 was , "I have not signed up for these emails so PLEASE STOP". However they continued and continued and continued until I finally clicked on the "unsubscribe link". Emails still continued. I even "Blocked" this Sophie lady, which future emails should have went to my SPAM folder, so she must be using another email address to continue this harassments. Either this is a Robot sending emails out at 2:00 AM or Sophie needs help. Today Sophie/Robot sent yet another harassing email. I googled Lensa Inc and it appears to be an Employee Agency. If this is their first impression (harassment) from their employee, I surely DO NOT want to do business with Lensa. I am being harassed by Lensa employee and I want it to STOP. I have asked to STOP and their employee continues to bother me flooding my inbox with unwanted solicitation because that's what it is, trying to lieu me in or possible SCAM me for my personal information. PLEASE have this company and their employee to cease all further communication with me. Thank you

Lensa either has terrible algorithms in their coding or when people turn off notifications and ask their support team to take them off their email list they simply don’t. I downloaded the Lensa photo editing app then started getting emails from Lensa Inc. I don’t know if there’s a correlation but I never signed up for Lensa. I have a full time job and the emails keep coming and it’s annoying. Also make it easy to unsubscribe like everyone else.

Dear ******* - thanks for your review about Lensa. The Lensa photo app and Lensa Inc have no correlation, it seems that you've accidentally downloaded our application instead of the photo app you planned to. Having checked your email address that you used to leave this review, I could not find a Support request in our system to unsubscribe you. Our Support team handles these requests with priority, within a maximum of 1 business day. If you used a different email address for the downloading the app (with which you were then registered to our service) please send an email to support@lensa.com from that address so we can unsubscribe you from our job alert emails. Thank you in advance and sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.

This company sells private information to third parties. I reported emails as spams and blocked them, I continued to receive emails. I wrote an email asking to NOt sell my information to third parties and they said they don't. However, to enable to sell to third parties to go to their website to turn on... note it WAS ON. the company lied. I used this company to apply to a job and I didn't even finish the application because it kept sending me to other comapanies...so didn't even get to do what the website said it would- help me apply to a job. I couldn't. The reviews are horrible now that I've researched and this company should be shut down.

Dear ****** - thanks for your review. We're sorry to see your experience was not to your satisfaction. We'd like to clarify that we do not give out your information to third parties unless it was specifically consented to. You can change these settings at any point in your Account Settings. With respect to not being able to finish your application, if you don't mind sending an email to our dedicated Support team to support@lensa.com, we'd be happy to investigate this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience, let us know if there's anything else we can do to further assist you.
