  May 13, 2023 Dear Mr. Gruber. This “Demand Letter of Payment” will be a final request for a refund of the balance of the Original Deposit provided to you on February 5th ,2023 of $2,230.00 representing a 50% deposit in which you never performed the agreed to (contractual services “contract attached to email”) of the bedroom remodeling at the customers address shown above due to your own personal issues. After repeated attempts to amicably resolve the issue with multiple, repeated texts, and telephone calls from you I offered you a $300.00 fee for your time upfront 5weeks ago for merely taking your time to come to Carlisle, write and estimate, and you volunteered to take 2 old bedroom doors and a few pieces of trim back with you in your pickup truck on the original day of taking the estimate February 5th 2023, all of which was just junk wood and already laying outside from our bedroom. This $300.00 was a generous offer on my part for your time trying to show some compassion, and still you have not returned our balance of the “Deposit Money” we furnished upfront and entrusted you with to complete our agreed to home bedroom remodeling project.

  July 23,2021 a contract was signed to do new windows, siding, lighting and light switches.The siding was not completed, no J channel on one side. J channel around window had a crack/hole and some are buckled they do not meet properly. He said he would fix the j channel, siding and flashing that did not seem to be done correctly and did not look good. This was not done. The lighting a faulty switches were not completed. We now have exposed wires outside. Originally he told us he would use a certain quality of siding and then did the bait and switch without telling us. He took advantage of me and pressured me to pay in full the last installment, before the work was complete.He sent a nasty text back when we asked him when he would be finishing the work.They also power washed our deck and damaged the deck because they got to close and the deck is all marred and indented now. We are seeking a refund back of $3000.00 to get someone else to finish the job.
