I currently live at the apartment complex at ***************** I have tried emailing and calling the apartment complex multiple times over the past few months regarding different issues which my apartment management has not gotten back to me. The main issue is that the apartment is supposed to provide new mailboxes for my apartment, but they have not. When I moved in, they stated they would be getting new mailboxes which they have not done (I moved in 9 months ago). It has now been over 3 months since I have been able to receive mail. Previously mail was dropped off on a table for the entire apartment complex. Then, mail was getting dropped off in front of my personal apartment door. Now it has been over 3 months where I have not been able to receive mail, and the apartment has not gotten back to me despite multiple calls and emails. Other issues with the apartment is the dirty windows which the complex refuses to clean for over a year and HVAC issues. The heating issue is that my heat is constantly on, and I have to turn it off with the breaker box. I have accidentally left my heat on when I left for work and came home to my apartment being 90 degrees. We also had issues over the summer with the AC not working and the apartment not providing fans. I had a neighbor who also had a leak which was damaging her walls which the apartment did not provide fans or replace the carpet/flooring/dry wall.

This is in regards to obtain a refund of a lease deposit for an apartment at ******************************, ***********************************, Philadelphia, PA. I'm the Guarantor on the Lease and my daughter, *************************** was to be the resident. She was going to reside there to attend ********University, but then she got accepted to ******* University and wanted to be closer to home. We informed the agency that we needed to terminate the lease (which was within the required deadline date) and we were told we would be reimbursed for the deposit amount of $1,000.00 and the Lease would be terminated. A matter of fact, one of her roommates, was able to get another person in her place, so they did another lease deposit and they did not loose any money by her terminating the Lease. We have communicated with them several times by emails, as they never answer their phone, and was always advised that they would look into the matter to get us reimbursed for the deposit. This goes back to June 2022.

I live in The **** apartments, I pay $90 a month for the lower garage parking. Within the last 2-3 months, the garage has been oversold, with two cars parking illegally happening quite often. Last night (4/21) I came in around 11pm, all the parking spots were full, there was one car already parked illegally, I parked next to them, blocking two cars from coming out. I proceeded to go inside to the front desk attendant and I informed him there were no more parking spots, what apartment I was in and my make/model and if anyone needed to move to call me, I would move. I left back out around 1:40 am as to attend the masjid to pray and came home around 4am and there were still no parking spots available. Fast forward to this afternoon, I go down to my car and my car is barnacled, which is a device that is put onto your windshield which prohibits you from seeing. I went to the leasing office and I explained to them, that I pay to park in the garage, they oversold the parking spots, thats not my fault, I then also informed someone of the situation, if that person did not convey the message to the next shift, thats not my fault. I did everything I could do with the resources available to me. I even recorded the garage full and another car parked illegally next to me. The leasing manager informed me to take the barnacle off would be $450 even though no email was ever sent out detailing what to do in this situation nor did the desk attendant inform me to do anything other than what I had done. I was tired and I just wanted to come home. They want to punish me for their incompetence and its unjust treatment. I have never been late on my rent, this is unacceptable. The leasing agent said I should have parked in the front of the building where it says 15 minute loading zone, which if I left my car there overnight, I would have been parked illegally as well and most likely barnacled. There was no win for me or options for me in this situation.
