This issue has been brought to Open MRI's attention numerous times, I have requested a call back utilizing the companies "contact us" link on their website 2 times. Have not heard back from management. My mother has been using Open MRI of New England for 5 years for her CT scans and has never been charged an out of pocket expense. During her visit on 7/31/2021 the wrong insurance was used to process the visit and she has been charged, no employee of this company has been able or willing to correct this. She has used Open MRI for multiple scans before this visit and many scans after this visit. Acct# ****** Thank you *************************** ************Business response

The complaint is about services that the patient's insurance denied coverage for.
We would be glad to settle the amount at a negotiated rate with the patient if they would like to call our billing department to discuss.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.
Thank you for your response however I have to reject. I have visited the office on several occasions and called in on several occasions. One of the colleagues at the office informed us in person that the service was submitted to BCBS, she does not have BCBS so it makes sense why it would be rejected. The service was not submitted to the correct insurance provider. There will be no negotiation, I hope your business is able to rectify this issue in a timely manner as it has been over 1 year without resolution. If you need the correct insurance information to bill, please review any of the other CT Scans that were properly billed. We have contacted her current insurance and they have confirmed that this dates CT scan has never been submitted by the provider.
