About a month ago, my HDMI went out on my Xbox Series X. Batteries Plus advertised that they repaired them and it was the closest place to me. I brought the console to them and they replaced the port but a month later it wasn't working again and the port was extremely loose behind the cover. I brought it back to them and now they're telling me that the location where the port solders to the motherboard is broken so now I need the motherboard repaired which is another $129 on top of the $175 I just paid. There's no way I could've caused this considering I brought the console home, set it in one spot and hooked it up. I never touched it again until it stopped working and I had to bring it back. They still blamed the new found issue on me and would not attempt to fix it again without the $129 or just refund me the $175 from the first failed attempt. So just by taking this console to them, I went from a bad HDMI to a broken motherboard and lost $175 plus the value of the console itself before they destroyed it.
