Back in January 2021 I had purchased furniture and the Fastimile Logistics was the delivery company. Upon delivery my hardwood floor was damaged. I immediately contact the delivery company and provided pictures. I was advised to get 2 quotes but it was not until recently I was able to get anyone to come to the use b/c NO ONE was making visits due to pandemic. I finally was able to get a hold of flooring companies and no one will repair a damaged floor if they were not the installer. One company did come out and give me a quote but it has to be done for a entire floor replacement. I have been in constant contact by phone and e-mail with Fastmile but am not getting any resolution. I have reached out now twice to General Manager Davis who is not returning my calls. The only 2 options I have regarding this damage is either to live with or or have the entire floor replaced. I have nothing in writing regarding a settlement amount but the office manager threw out $500.00. This is not satisfactory as my floor was in pristine condition. The company continues to be unresponsive and not willing to make me whole.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/01/25) */ The claimant did reach out to us in regard to damage to her floors in January of last year at which time we requested that she send over both photos and two quotes for damage repairs. On 12/09/21, we received one quote from Mrs. ******** which was for entire floor replacement; prior to that we received 3 emails over the course of the year at which time Mrs. ******** was reminded that we needed the quotes to continue the process. Our claims department is working to mitigate this situation even though the information required for processing was not provided to us until nearly a year later. We have made an in- home visit to assess the damages to the floors and sent all images to our claims department, this is an active situation. If you have any further questions in regard to this matter, I will be happy to assist you.
