      The school my child attends uses Blackbaud for tuition processing. The system is very convoluted. Each year, you must register and setup payment methods. Furthermore, when transitioning to a high school that also uses the same tuition processing system, I spent over an hour on the phone trying to set up access to my account. You could not merely add another school to the profile. It required a call to support. After an hour on the line, I was told that a support rep would need t call me in the next 2 business days. How is it that you receive an email from Blackbaud welcoming you to begin using their service, and when you click the links, you are unable to gain access to the portal, and the resolution is too complex for level-one support? Blackbaud operates as if they have one guy in back developing, setting up, and maintaining the service. Amazing!! I advise you to use other systems for tuition processing. If parents and users are going to be challenged to the point they may as well mail checks in, it's not worth it. Don't **** *** your users and customers with Blackbaud. I am awaiting my issue with access to be resolved.

      They routinely have issues with payment methods and make resetting passwords or having multiple parents access the account is very difficult. My personal assistant is not able to manage it as they do not allow delegation additional people

      When Blackboud acquired SmartTuition I end up in a situation when I have to manage two tuitions for my kids, one under old Blackboud and one under SmartTuition they merged. I cannot login properly (it's switching to a wrong account), I cannot pay properly via voice assistant (it just getting stuck). Call center waiting time is 15 minutes at least. It's just very painful to work with this organization. I don't understand why organizations outsource their tuition management to this company - just look at all those reviews here.

      What a horrible experience working through their online tuition assistance application process. Documents continuously fail to upload correctly and customer service just tells you to upload them online.... which the software will block you from doing if it fails the first time. What a joke

      I attempted to make a gift to Georgia Public Broadcasting. The amount was entered as $5.00. Then I received a"Thank you" for $5000.00. I immediately call and spoke with someone and was told it would be Monday before someone in "accounting" could correct the error. Next I get notice the amount has been changed to $2026.00. I call again and ask to withdraw my pledge and take my name off the list with Georgia Public Broadcasting. Then I get a reply from my Chase credit card stating Blackbaud confirmed that the $2026.00 was "the amount agreed...." GPB tells me they do not have my $2026.00 and they cannot give me credit. After reading some of the other statements by others regarding Blackbaud I suspect that is where my $2026.00 is now. Since I have NEVER communicated with Blackbaud this is my effort to get someone's attention.

      They call themselves "Blackbaud Tuition Management" but then use the moniker "Smart LLC" when taking money out of downstream customer bank accounts. It looks like fraud and they claim no responsibility for their bad business practice. They assess bank fees that they refuse to waive when shocked customers see potentially fraudulent charges on their bank accounts from their affiliate company. If they are using multiple names to do business, they need to be transparent to the end users. This is a bad and terrifying business practice.

      I made a donation through my company who uses them as an administrator and I immediately uploaded all the proofs needed. Two months later the organization I donated to still doesn't have the matching donation from my company yet. Tried to call them multiple times. Nobody ever answers calls. Tried to email them multiple times. It took several weeks for them to reply and did not resolve the issue. Ridiculously inefficient and irresponsible company! I'm trying to inform senior management of my company to stop using them as an administrator.

      I would give 0 stars if possible. Our small, non-profit school checked out several companies to handle our tuition/admissions process and settled on Blackbaud. Turns out, the salespeople will made promises they can't deliver on and, when you complain, they make no effort for resolution. We canceled, citing their inability to hold up their end of the bargain, and their legal team only gave a buyout of 80% ($11k!) option or will take legal action. I am highly disappointed in their lack on integrity, ethics and customer service. Save yourself the money and headaches and go somewhere else.

      I am only using this to pay RSM bills. Nothing else in my entire life. I don't understand why payment is such a pain. And for almost every step you made or every mistake you made, you are charged extra. This is ridiculous nowadays. For every other schools I pay directly to school. To use a software is to make things easier not harder.

      I have been paying bills with checks using the services of the united states post office for decades. I find it incredible that a business that specializes in payments processing on behalf of multiple organizations repeatedly and mysteriously does not receive my letters, or receive them unusually late. I'm just trying to pay my RSM bills, bi-yearly. Just now, lo and behold, another letter was not able to make the dangerous route from Massachusetts to Newark (it's been a month). Paying bills should not such a pain. I encourage RSM to process payment themselves or find another vendor.
