This company is a scam! They hired my dump trucks to do a job in June and now refuse to pay. They have blocked my number so I have no way to even get ahold of them. They owe me $3910.00Review from Keith D

As President of a HOA, we contracted with this company to replace eight existing driveways in our neighborhood. Once they were finished the new driveways had large black stains all over the freshly poured driveways. After a long fight and a million excuses, they did agree to rip up and replace some of the worst driveways. In the process we had paid over $3,000 to repair the landscaping that they made a big mess of. After another big fight they agreed that they would fix the landscaping as part of the replacement. Of course they didn't. We filed a claim in small claims court only to find out they are no longer at ** ******* ***** I talked to the owner of the building who claims they singed a long lease earlier this year, only stayed a few months, trashed the building and then left, breaking the lease and owing money. The owner also stated there have been a stream of unhappy customers looking for this company to seek restitution. The best advice I can give is DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY and if anyone knows where they are located now post a review here with their new address.Review from Cyndi C

A warning about this concrete company. When we did business with them their company name was Madewell Concrete. They’ve now changed to Concrete Driveway Company. At first everything looked good. During the summer we noticed a crack that goes completely from one side to the other. I contacted the company and was told they would honor the 10 year warranty and was sent an online claim form. I completed the claim form and submitted it 9/11/24. I promptly received a confirmation. We were told to expect a response within 14 business days. We waited until 10/4 and called. Were told the “production manager” would contact us. Never heard from anyone. Called again 10/14. Told we’d get an email from “Scheduling”. No email info yet! We’ve been patient, but now think we are being put off because they don’t intend to do anything about our problem. We want others to know about this company and their warranty practices. Don’t fall for their sales pitch. It’s obviously worth nothing. Makes me think that maybe this is why they felt the need to change their company name. ??Review from Javier O

We received a quote for a concrete pad for 10,750.00 on June 4th. We received an invoice for 50% to start the job on June 10th. I sent $5,400.00 on June 11th. The next day the contractor come out and told me it would cost an additional $2,000.00 to do the job. I told him that was unacceptable and called to cancel the job. No work had started and I was told it would take 4 weeks to process the refund. For several weeks I spoke with the lady that sent me the invoice and was told to be patient. It’s now been over 3 months and now they have blocked my phone and my wife’s phone.Review from William G

I asked Concrete Driveway Company for a quote, which was provided. I thought it was reasonable so I paid the required 50% deposit of $4725.00. Unfortunately I hadn't read the reviews - my bad. I had to unexpectedly cancel the project and have asked for a refund and they are totally unresponsive. The project was canceled in early June 2024 and it is now mid September. They are STILL unresponsive.Review from Robert G

Agree with all previous reviews of this company. They did horrible work. They drove their equipment on our existing driveway and left red clay everywhere and refused to clean it off. They tore up the sod and the only took credit card instead of a check so that they could take their final draw before we could get them out to fix their mess. Had to pay a pressure washer company to come out and clean our driveway, and we had to fix the sod ourselves.Review from Lisa C

A really very bad experience. AVOID this company (also known as madewell concrete) A one-day job took 3 days. There was no supervisor and the crew (sub-contractors, not what we were promised by the salesman) did not speak English. They cut and broke everything they could (cable, irrigation, gutters, bushes and more) and, of course, were not responsible per the contract. They threw what they broke plus their garbage all over the garden instead of neatly picking up. They stored their wood on top of our bushes. We had to fight for every step. They had not cut all the old concrete and had left large chunks (and threw some in the bushes) and wanted to cover with concrete. They did not stamp all the way as per the contract and again we had to fight for it. They sprayed concrete all over, driveway or not, including in the garden and on the walls.Review from Tina C

Do not use them. Concrete truck broke down..had to park on street 3 Days longer... threatened with collections before job was done....where driveway and road meet all crooked and rough cement. Called to get someone out to look at it, was threatened again with collections. Sent a guy he said it was fixed, still rough concrete at edge. Had to make guy go get a grinder to smooth things out. I held check here to finally get someone here. Showed him how bad it looked and the new cracks in garage floor. Was told I could fix those, things happen and he thought the job went relatively smooth and everything was good. Note: they took 200.00 off an 11k job and their contract states they aren't libel for property damage.Review from Luke L

MadeWell Concrete, now Concrete Driveway Co, is a company to stay away from. Contracted with them to replace our asphalt driveway. Which they did, but poorly. After a couple of years one section of the drive has started showing signs on major pitting/degradation. Their customer service is nonexistent, and getting a warranty claim going is an exercise in frustration. Constantly ignoring emails and giving the impression that they're waiting out the clock for the warranty to expire. Stay away
