The Greenville News has decided to mail the paper now. Will the price go up again? This takes away many carriers jobs! Bad move! We have been taking the paper for over 40 years!

The paper is not delivered at least 1 day week sometimes several days. I called today was told I would receive my Sunday paper by noon, never came. Called again was told we are working on it, I will get it today, no promise when. Drove to Ingles 5 minutes from my house they had 30 papers in rack. Company is unreliable and do not care if they assist their customers. They only take your money with poor service. Asked to speak to service manager and never got a call back. I have been a 20 year customer but service is worst than ever.

We paid our yearly rate Jan 24, 2022 (Jaden gave us a discount rate for long time customer- 30 years-$356.00 for the year Wed.-Sunday, good until Jan.31st since we had some days credit.) and they ended our delivery Dec. 10th, 2022. Now: history of our year with POOR customer service. Called and talked with Louie on May 23 and he said to ignore the cancellation notice. Got another notice on June 23 and spoke with Eddie and he said to ignore the cancellation notice that we were paid up to Jan. 2023. On Sept 9th, we were told we had an inactive account and David changed it to active. We had a chat with a representative that was of no use on Dec. 28 so we called again on Dec. 29th. Kem said he would extend the paper thru Jan. 31st and we would receive a paper on Sunday but nothing was delivered. We called one more time and were told we could re-subscribe. We said no thank you that we were paid up through Jan. 31st. as we pay for the year at that time. In our opinion, there as been no customer service as were were lied to about our account. As a native of Greenville, it makes me very sad to not receive the paper. I also believe some on the problem was our carrier in the River Walk subdivision. No way to contact anyone downtown at our local Greenville News office if you have a complaint. By the way, who has to keep a file folder on your lack of service with a company. The Greenville News has serious deilvery issues and does not seem to care. In the last month we have called repeatedly about missed deliveries and always get the same answer, "we have reported this issue and promise it will be corrected" BUT nothing changes or improves. Today Sunday, January 8th, I called and was assured our paper would be deilvered, and once again no paper. If they cannot correct their delivery issues they need to just go out of business! No customers translates to no subscribers which translates to no jobs for them. We have been customers for over 30 years and never have experienced such POOR service,

I had many issues with Greenville News delivery. After I did not get the paper for the last 4 weekends, I decided to cancel. I spoke to a representative and later to a manager. I requested money back, for services not delivered. They refused.

Charles G. The Greenville News paper delivery is horrible. I have registered numerous complaints in the last year. Get their standard reply " we have notified your carrier and have resolved the issue." We are being charged for product and not receiving the product. This past week we did not receive our paper on July 8, 10, 11 and 12 of 2022. Horrible customer service. Always talk to someone offshore. Can not reach the local staff.

The Greenville News has virtually stopped delivering the paper soon after we paid in advance for a 1 year subscription. We've called again and again with no improvement. Supervisors seem clueless. They say that someone is assigned to deliver but it's not happening. Greenville News needs to get the paper delivered or refund the entire year's subscription amount if they can't get the job done anymore.

We have subscribed to The Greenville News for 12 years. The price continues to go up and the frequency of our papers actually being delivered has gone down. When we found out recently that the monthly subscription price was going to jump yet again at the end of our annual subscription period (2 months from now), we decided to go digital only at the end of our current subscription. The monthly billing for the next month was charged to our credit card the day after our call. Then our papers stopped being delivered. When I called. I was told that our subscription was suspended and that they would reinstate us and delivery would resume the next day. We got a paper the next day. No paper the following day or today. Apparently, we are on suspension again? Who knows? I called, but since it is a weekend, we will have to wait until next week so someone can help us in person. Meanwhile, they have already charged us $2.00 per day for a paper we don't even get! When, out of frustration, I asked about just cancelling the daily delivery and just going digital, I was told that was not available because I had an annual subscription and was required to fulfill my obligation. What about THEIR obligation to deliver the paper? This seems like a breach of contract on their part to me. Obviously, a 1 star rating is generous, but as others have noted, there is no option for 0 star.

Subscribed for over 30 years. When they took publication to TN service went downhill. Have complained constantly about not receiving paper or just partial papers. THey will put in games/other editions but not regular paper and charge more. No fewer than 15 times have they been notified in Dec and spoke to 3 supervisors to no avail. Just give you the standard call center verbage. Today no paper and tried to cancel paper. Had to speak with supervisor who said he has refunded some. Made him refund for all papers not received. They wanted to keep money in case I came back it seemed. It is cheaper for me to go to Dollar Tree on sunday and pay $1 for paper and far less stressful. It would also work much better if their call centers were manned by proficient english speaking persons. It is difficult for both parties. There is no 0 star.
