This company will not stop spamming my contact form. They do this to a lot of businesses. There was a previous complaint on BBB about the exact same thing. This Cody G***** won't leave me alone.

I have searched my sales rep Cody G*****'s email account ****@mrmarketingres.com for "***", "*********", his gmail email address he used to file this complaint with, and his website which I had to find making ****** searches since he didn't provide it in the complaint "*********************".  I see absolutely no evidence at all that he requested my sales team to not contact him again, he simply went straight to the BBB to file a complaint.  Anytime we get a request from a business not to contact that business again, we comply.  I have multiple sales reps and resellers and we use a company-wide Do Not Contact list and adhere to that, we add the domain, email, phone and business name of any business that requests not to be contacted by our sales team again to that list. After tracking down this information per the BBB complaint I have added this gentleman and his company information to our Do Not Contact list and he will not be contacted again.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because I have received several emails from Cody G***** over the last several months and he keeps using fake names while also using his real name which is really strange.  I should not have to contact a business and tell them to stop spamming me.  They should just not spam people to begin with.  They've had other people complain about the exact same thing and yet they keep doing it.  A ****** search for "Cody G*****. I apologize for using your contact form" turns up hundreds of results.  I want this company to stop spamming everyone, not just me.  There's just no need for it.  If they really are a legitimate business that doesn't scam their customers they wouldn't need to spam every company with a contact form.  They would be able to get customers based off of their reputation.

      Sincerely,

      *** *********

The resolution the complaint asks for is to not be contacted again.  I have told all of our sales reps and resellers to not contact him again by any means of communication.  I have gone out of my way to ensure he is not contacted again by anyone in my company.  Clearly this man has no objective other than to harm our business as I have given him exactly the resolution his complaint has requested.

This company continues to spam our business website and email addresses with spam and promotional items and we've asked many times for them to stop. We've called, emailed.. to no avail. Very shady practices.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/31) */ Mr. ******, My company does not engage in mass email marketing. I have taken note of your name, phone, and website address and I will speak with all of my sales reps regarding honoring your wish not to be contacted again. It is not currently illegal for one of my sales reps to reach out to your business, although I apologize if their outreach upset you, that is certainly not our objective.
