1/8/22 - I purchased 2 tickets to attend a musical. 1/21/22- I'm packing my suitcase and check the weather. The weather is calling for an ice storm telling people to stay off the roads until Saturday, January 22 around noon or so because the road will be iced over. I called to cancel because I'm driving from over 6 hours away and I would run into the ice. I didn't want to put my safety at risk. They tell me they are going to keep my money. So I either, risk my safety or lose my money. Then the woman hangs up on me.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/02/17) */ Thank you for the notice on the customer complaint requesting a refund. We have been in business for 27 years in Myrtle Beach and are well-known as a reputable operator and business, while hosting millions of guests at this location. We did talk to her by phone about her concerns on the weather and we offered to reschedule her tickets to the evening show of 1/22/22 or the matinee the next day on 1/23/22, to give her comfort for her travel. We did the same with many other guests without any issues. She did not want to accept another show later for her same day or the next day, and began screaming calling our Box Office Manager of 10 years, a crook and a thief and more. She was unwilling to accept anything we offered her for re-booking. The safety of our guests and employees is our highest priority. There was inclement weather the day before her show date, but it was gone and all roads were clear hours before show time, and the 2 shows that we had scheduled went on as scheduled, as did the show the following day. We followed the guidance of local authorities regarding whether to operate or not on her show day. All warnings and watches in the region had expired. The performance that her tickets were for had over 500 other guests attend without issue or complaint. She is the only guest that did not make the performance or move back her tickets. This special engagement that we hosted displayed clearly on our website, which was the only internet website that you could purchase tickets, that all sales were final and no refunds. That is our ticket policy unless the show is cancelled. We are sorry that this customer was unable to attend the show but we feel we did all we could to accommodate her and based on our no refunds for this event, we feel she is not due a refund. We had many customers that rescheduled due to the pending weather and they came and had a great time.
