Our a/c went out during the hottest part of the summer. It was 95 degrees inside and the very next day, Saturday, two technicians, **** and ******* work in the heat all day to get us a new hvac unit. They were so professional and hard working we had our a/c back by 4pm. They saved us from having to stay at a hotel and they worked so hard in terrible conditions and were so polite! We are so thankful. ******, the salesman made sure we got what we needed fast and gave us options we could work with.Review from sady d

We purchased a Daikin split/ac installed in 2017, $5,822.00, then in 2019 the unit failed to work but it was under a 10 year warranty. 1hourAC had me purchase a replacement for $1,490.00, they gave me some excuse for the additional fee. Then in 2022, the remote that runs the unit was not working, so they charge me another $175.00 for the replacement remote and all was working well until today 8-7-2024, the newest remote would not work. Spoke with **************** Support and that's when the can of worms opened up. 1hourAC never registered my new second unit installed in 2019, therefore I can not request a new remote thru Daikin because of the "NOT REGISTERED" warranty. So I agree with everyone below, this company should not be in business and will never recommend them to anyone. Daikin the manufacturer will be reaching out to them so I can get my remote.Review from Marie G.

If I could give a minus 1, I would. This company One Hour Heating and Air has a terrible reputation when it comes to treating their customers. They do not stand behind their work and they also lie to their customers even the managers. The manager agreed to return the money I paid them $824 less the service call of $109. I am still waiting after 2 weeks with no results. I was given a choice of putting freon into our air conditioner and **** said it would last for approximately 30 days so I could decide if I wanted it fixed or replace the air conditioner. It didnt last 24 hours. ************************* is the manager who agreed to make a refund but hasnt and is not returning my calls now. You can ask other air technicians and they will tell you that they cheat customers. This company is looking to scam customer. I also had a monthly contract with them but obviously I have cancel that as well!Review from Barbara R

We pay for membership in the Comfort Club with One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. Annual inspection took place prior to a home inspection to sell home. Salesman immediately comes back & reports I have MOLD on my unit. I am alone & panic. He tell me I need to clean & sanitize my ducts for $1261.00. knowing I am widowed & having inspection, he says this must be done. I agree. Later I discovered ducts cleaned in 2019 for $656.00. 3 years later One Hour doubles the price. Salesman is who pretends to be by a be technician says, it was cost of fuel. What a ridiculous statement, they doubled the price. There are no supplies used- this job is strictly labor and one man did 90% of the job. This is Price Gouging, and taking advantage of a situation. My husband would never had agreed to this price. Furthermore, the salesman who said he was a technician never cleaned mold outside the unit. He did nothing but take my money. I believe this company is watching price increases all around & taking advantage of this excessive price increase to make $$$. By the way what is Crud Buster - One Hour Heating & AC? I've never had it done. It is part of the "Comfort Club!" If I don't get compensation for price gouging I will pursue other avenues. Marvin, manager contacted me twice trying to resolve this problem. I agreed to meet him at my home. He listened, and he inspected my unit which was bought & installed by One Hour. After looking at my unit, Marvin offered a full refund and a free thorough cleaning. The previous job was not properly completed. As promised the 3 man/woman crew showed up on time, used appropriate foot covering, and are doing the job right. Thank you Marvin for standing by your commitment. This is second time they have ripped my elderly mother off. She had them out for a simple fix on their unit they installed charges her 500 now have signed her up for some 2000 service , took her CC left NO receipt or paperwork. My cousin who is a HVAC person showed up today and tried to call amd cancel the scam for her and they said they can't. Haven't even gotten service yet. Scheduled for next week. These people are becoming known for taking advantage of seniors.Review from Randi T

I called because my AC wasn't getting cold. I was told I couldn't get the Freon for that year model anymore & even if they fixed the other parts I still wouldn't have cold air & thus I needed a new unit. I trusted this company and allowed them to install a new unit. (no duct work, only the unit) for $13393. After financing it would be $21,229 for the unit. I have spoken to other companies since then and have been informed I was severely overcharged and they quoted me at 6K for the exact same unit and installation. I am disappointed that a company would take advantage of someone to that extent. I contacted the office on 3/21/22 and have received a variety of answers. Informed that the manager would contact me the next day, then it was he will contact by 3pm the next day, then I was told he will call me within 30 mins and I have yet to receive a call back after several attempts. I am unable to even discuss my warranty and the Satisfaction guaranteed that is on the contract. I was also informed that it was a possibility to have a part replaced that would allow my unit to run 407. I am extremely unsatisfied with this company and urge everyone to seek other quotes.Review from Kristina H

Karl (very nice) came out today to do my 6 month maintenance as part of a monthly customer care plan I pay for. I JUST bought this unit in July for over 8k. Karl said the installers did NOT put an air filter in when they installed this unit! Air filters being like the lungs of an air conditioner, I was appalled and agast to hear this. So, I have been running my a/c all summer, fall with NO AIR FILTER after paying this company over 8k for this new system with the comfort care subscription. The whole reason I ever called the company was because I know air filters are important and I am not good on a ladder, and so I had the inspection done. And then after hearing from the staff member about the age etc of my unit, I decided to buy a whole unit. I feel completely betrayed knowing I have run this BRAND NEW UNIT for 6 months now with NO FILTER AT ALL in it that I trusted them to install. And if I had not subscribed to their pricey monthly care program, I'd still be running this with no filter BECAUSE I TRUSTED THEM. Karl indicated how my brand new coil could have suffered unnecessary wear because of not having any air filter whatsoever in my brand new 8k unit since July. I am beyond upset about this. I equate it to buying a brand new car off the lot and the people not putting an oil filter in the car.
