We enjoy the beach, and we have stayed in the same complex in past years dealing directly with the respective owners. While we enjoyed the beach, having to deal with Elliott was not desirable...let me explain:- When asked if there are bath mats available, 1) don't laugh at me 2) don't then tell me I should bring anything I would normally use when in writing you advise of specific things to bring ie towels and tp, and 3) most certainly don't tell me there is a list of items in the unit for the OWNER to review not for the RENTER...like, who needs the list more, ******?- When Elliott gave me a non working pool access card (that is well advertised as a $100 charge if not returned), don't tell me I have to come get a working card from your office. Don't inconvenience me (renter) to correct your inefficiencies. After waiting 10 mins, you agreed that the *** already coming to the unit would also bring the card...should not have been a discussion, would you have paid for my time and gas to come get a working card I should have been issued initially, ******?- On the flip, when we accidently locked ourselves out of the unit, it was ***eatedly advised that it would be a $50 fee accessed to open. 1) REALLY 2) No one showed up, 1 hour lapsed, the on site maintenance never got a call from Elliott either 3) when I called Elliott to advise we are good (fear of being charged $50 erroneously), I was first hung up on, second call was answered with a oh, ok, and third, a guy showed up thereafter, knocked on the door & when answered asked if we were locked out...I laughed, I cannot make this up. (inferred there was no call made out initially).- Lastly, renter's perspective, it is all about the fees w/ Elliott; from the start, through the contracts, to the pool card, to the entry fee, to the list of fees assessable when leaving (oh and we left it WELL cleaner than found)...Elliott may advertise as full service...but for Owners, only.Elliott Realty Inc. I am nearly 80 and yes, you are never too old to learn! We came here for our second year for three months. The condo they gave us was a second choice as the first choice was canceled by them nine months after our deposit. We were stuck with it for two months. It was filthy and in poor condition. The first month needed five service calls for repairs. We purchased a vacuum and managed to clean the place after several passes. They are a big landlord with the ability to make a lot of money ripping off unsuspecting people and they have been doing this for a long time. I dont recommend doing business with them. Its best to do your research before renting anything in this area!!!Review from Jodie C

Booked with ****** reality recently for a family vacation. When we arrived to check in they noted that our duplex side wasnt ready yet. Since check in was from 3-7 pm. Its 3:30 by the time we had arrived at our destination. We are hot , tired and just needing a little repreve. We go into the house knowing it hasnt been cleaned but need to cool off and see the place. What a effin mess. There are broken chairs on porch facing the ocean, ************ inside the door, of course the place is dirty, railing on stairs is loose, the bathroom downstairs had s*** on the wall, 2 door k**** were loose on the bedroom doors, dish washer was hanging out of the wall, oven was filthy like never been clean filthy , the mattress looked gross and half -assed. , there was a ungodly amount of mold in air vents. My parents both have breathing issues that mold would only exercerbate those issues. There is no way that the mold itself is a easy fix. We found out the other side of duplex had been cleaned but ours had not, Why? We left for a bit when cleaners came at 545pm and were only there for 45 min. Now theres no way it was "cleaned" appropriately. So we called back to let them know the house still was only half-cleaned and still not suitable to stay. After we had initally told them while waiting on cleaning about the issues ****** said they wouldnt/couldnt do anything until it was cleaned. ( insert eye roll here) After the cleaning we called back and told them that we were having to find somewhere else to stay due the ALL the issues and health risks. They **** at customer seervice and was like we can put you somewhere else, H*** its 730pm at this point, were tired , hangry and need rest. The next morning we called back to talk to the manager whom was conviently out of the office since he would be the only one to issue a refund for a house wayyyy over priced for the way it was. We have photos of what the house was and was not. This is the first time in years a house was this jacked up.Review from Amanda T

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ****** REALTY. We checked into our home and it was filthy. The shower liner had mold on it. The showers were full of hair. The floors were nasty. They hadnt been moped in awhile. The drains didnt drain at all. If I owned these houses I would be mortified to see the condition they allow these houses to be rented out in. I will never stay with ****** ever again. When we arrived, the professional cleaner was sitting outside on her cellphone. It was totally disgusting!Review from Donna W

Wish I had read these reviews before renting from Elliott Realty! We stayed at "All Decked Out" and the place was filthy! After driving 7 hrs we couldn't check in until 8pm because the house was being "cleaned". When we were allowed in, there was no electricity in the kitchen. How can you clean with no lights? It wasn't! Pots and pans had not been scrubbed and still had burnt food in them, floors were filthy, blood stain on sheet, vents were covered with dust and mold inside, outside shower broken, hinge missing from bathroom door and casing rotten. Called by office personnel on Sun morning concerning electricity in the kitchen and I told her it was a breaker and my son fixed it. Informed her that the house had not been cleaned and she apologized saying she would send a cleaning crew out. We never saw that cleaning crew! Received a message on Fri morning stating if the house wasn't left in proper condition I could be charged up to $500. I messaged the office, sending pictures, and received a phone call. Was told that if I had notified them about the cleaning, a crew would have come out. Like the other review on this page, she said there was no work order and they could not correct something they knew nothing about. Sent her a screen shot of my phone calls showing the call from Elliott Realty and asked if she believed me then! She said I should have called the office daily until someone came out. I told her the house should have been cleaned before we arrived. I didn't come there for vacation to make sure they did their job correctly. Elliott Realty did refund me $150 for cleaning but it is ridiculous. I cannot believe companies can rent houses this dirty. This was our first family vacation in 8 years and I, along with everyone else, was very disappointed. This could be a nice house with it's location to the beach and pool. Unless it received a deep cleaning by someone other than Elliott Realty employees, I wouldn't stay there again if it was free!!!! 0 star ratingReview from Paul B

Earlier this year Elliott Realty convinced me to switch management to them since they had so many other condos in the same building and they could rent it out for more money than my previous management company. This was not only absolutely FALSE, they charged high fees for nearly everything that all in cost me thousands of dollars. Basically they don't know what they are doing. Here are some details: 1) from April through June, they were only able to get me three bookings from my top rated place right on the ocean 2) and the bookings they did bring were at an average of only $110 a night. (my friend in the same building with the same size of 2 bed, 2 bath condo averaged $300 a night and was nearly 90% booked). 3) They don't make the beds and force the guests to do it 4) don't really care if you unit it booked since they have so many others they manage 5) Charge high rates for pictures, their locks, lock installation, etc 6) When they took over I had a few booking from a previous mgmt company, they said they would fully handle them, but 2 of them complained about poor communication and lack of sheets provided 7) They don't pay you until the 15th of the next month 8) their portal is poor and doesn't provide nearly enough information 9) You can only cancel their exclusive contract in July. 10) when you cancel they want you to stay another 60 days -unless of course they want to steal your bookings and give to someone else, then they will let you out early. 11) They force you to only allow 7 day stays in June-Aug (not everyone wants to stay Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday) 12) They charge you to list on VRBO and AirBNB, but they must discourage bookings from these sites as it was just a money grab. STAY FAR AWAY unless you want them to help bankrupt your rental unit...Review from Barb A

I would never rent from Elliott realty again. Booked a beach house for a family reunion for 50 people, 15 months prior to the reunion. 4 weeks prior to our arrival, I receive a email that our booking was being canceled due to damage from a hurricane that occurred last ******** They found us a replacement house that could accommodate the family but what a disaster of a house! A crane blocked the parking area, couldnt get our cars parked, the elevators didnt work, (we had a couple elderly folks). Wi-Fi didnt work. Garbage disposal didnt work . House was dirty, furniture was old and shabby. Waiting for 10 minutes to get someone answer, sometimes you were disconnected, I wish we were informed months earlier so I could find a nicer property vs learning 4 weeks prior, all I can say is Ugh !!Review from Josh A

Address ********************************************************************************************************* I am absolutely livid about the train wreck of a vacation we had at this so-called 'villa'. What a disastrous start when we were sent on a wild *********** to the wrong address! An hour - over an hour! - we wasted, waiting for some asinine code to finally let us in. And when we got in? Don't get me started! The Wi-Fi - a basic necessity in this day and age - was absolutely useless, leaving us cut off from the world! And the absolute circus of managing not one, but two remotes for each television was maddening! As if this wasn't frustrating enough, one of them looked like it had been chewed up by a beast and the other was utterly useless without batteries!And let's talk about that joke of a toilet seat that couldn't stay up without being manually held! It was disgusting and exasperating - such a pathetic oversight! The absolute pinnacle of our terrible experience was the complete radio silence from the host. Despite our desperate attempts to get some help or clarification, we were met with utter indifference. It was disgraceful, leaving us feeling completely stranded!Oh, and that blasted bedroom fan! The incessant racket it made was like trying to sleep next to a popcorn machine - so much for relaxation!And as if we hadn't dealt with enough, we found ourselves playing plumbers because of a sink clogged up to the brim! It was an affront to our expectations of a well-kept villa!In short, this 'villa' was a complete disaster, a cacophony of incompetence and neglect: the incorrect address, inaccessible entrance, dead Wi-Fi, infuriating remotes, health hazard of a toilet seat, ghost of a host, insomniac fan, and a sink that needed unclogging! I implore you to take these issues seriously because this was an absolute shambles of an experience.Review from Debra C

We stayed at the Ambassador on ****************. This place is filthy. I will not come back to stay here. The bathrooms nasty, floors filthy with filthy rugs on them, dusty and shabby nasty furniture. I couldnt believe they would allow such filthy places to have people stay!! I wouldnt give any stars if I could. I am amazed at the filth. They should be ashamed and the Ambassador certainly doesnt fit the inside of this filthy place!! We would never deal with ****** Realty again. upon arrival to our room, the door was wide open. We went in the room it was disgusting. The walls were dirty. The baseboards were dirty. The bathroom floor had hair all over it. I called Elliot ********************* They said they would have somebody there the next day to fix the door that wouldn't shut because of the lock and somebody would clean the room. That never happened so we had to get cleaning supplies and do it ourselves. My husband had to take the screws out of the door just so we could shut the ********** nights before our trip was up I saw a ***** in the bathroom so we left and went to another hotel. We showed pictures to ****** reality and they did nothing about it. They told us that they took pictures of the rooms which they showed us and the pictures did look clean, but our word and pictures meant nothing. Our ironing board didn't even have anything on top of it. It was just the metal I put it up to use it with a towel on it and it flattened right to the floor. It was broken, and the whole room was a nightmare, and ****** reality did nothing to compensate us for a nightmare week for us. Very poor customer service.!!
