Will be avoiding any AMCS properties and advising others to as well. Their management at the townhomes I was at were never on the same page and always had different answers. They also liked to change stories up to avoid blame (despite their being physical proof against their claims). They’re quick to point fingers instead of solving the issue, they’ll even withhold information regarding an issue to save their tails leaving tenants confused until you get upper management involved (which felt like selling your soul to have happen). When confronted they play the blame game and disrespect the tenants. I know I was confused when I was in the office every month for FIVE months to make sure things were received properly only to be told as I’m preparing for a move they weren’t completely ruining the process of my move. The staff has been rude and unprofessional to not just myself but my fellow neighbors (especially when it comes to maintenance of these buildings they would rather let rot!). For the property I’m at I have to leave two voicemails or a voicemail and an email to get a response. You also can’t just pop up to the office most days as nobody is really ever there. If you call AMCS directly, their voicemail box is full and I called four times everyday for six days with no response. I’ve emailed multiple times with zero response. We are all quite fed up and are glad they will no longer be managing the property we are at on James Island. We all agreed it’s long over due for a new management company while on our porches. Maybe things will be properly communicated and resolved promptly with full transparency.

My mother was a tenant at one of the properties, ********* *****. My mom passed away at her apartment on December 13, 2021 while the office was open and EMS was at the residence. No one from the office reached out to the emergency contacts on my mom's file to notify us of what happened. It took a neighbor asking them if they saw my mom leave, which they replied EMS was at the home. It took us 2 hours to find out which hospital our mom was at and when we did, she had already passed. Today I received a call from the office asking if I had the telephone number for another applicant they were trying to reach. It took a minute for me to realize what happened and I called the office back. I spoke with Trish and asked how did she get my number? Trish responded from my mom's file. I told Trish that it was very disrespectful to call for info about another person when no one called to notify about my mom. Trish then stated she was told to call by the property manager Shannon. I have had a prior issue with Shannon and her grabbing my young son but this crosses the line. Shannon and her staff needs to apologize to the family for what she has done and that entire staff needs to be replaced. Our mom passed a week ago and to do this is pass disrespect!!!!
