Did not get a septic permit useable for my new residential build. 1. Asked for a septic permit for a 6 bedroom home and did not get it.2. I notified Palmetto of incorrect location of house and # of bedrooms on site plan and they did not make corrections.3. Asked for the septic soil test and reports to be given to me directly for review prior to submit to DHEC and did not get it until after submission resulting in an incorrect unusable septic permit.4. I already had a DHEC septic application pending and Palmetto did not give me the documents and opened a new application separately and tried to charge me another 153.55.5. After Palmetto realized their mistake with the incorrect # of bedrooms. They tried to charge me ******* for a whole new soil report and engineered system again.6. I requested Palmetto to justify the additional cost and confirm no submission to DHEC unless all documents are sent and reviewed and approved by the land owner. Palmetto and ***** Horizons stop communications. Its been months and I still don't have my corrected permit and lost ******* DO NOT USE THEM!!!! THEY will only keep milking you for money!!!Business response

***********************, The information you are giving is not correct. I will address your complaint. 1. We submitted for a permit on a 3 bedroom since that is the information you gave our office. We spoke about that over the phone and a message thread is available for proof that we both read together and you agreed to. 2. We did ask the soil classifier to make the correction, and it is possible. However, it was initial permitted as a conventional and due to the bedroom count change it will need to converted to a drip system which then an engineer needs to be involved to create the septic design. We explained this to you and sent over an invoice with tht fee to move forward which you have not paid. 3. Test was emailed to you April 3rd. 4. We needed to be granted permission to access and upload documents to existing permit. We did not charge you the **** fee and issue was solved with ****. 5. We did not make the mistake. Your daughter informed us it was 3 bedrooms. The fee of $2403.55 is only for engineered design not soil testing. It already was performed at that time. Soil testing was needed since you initially only provided a preliminary report which was not able to be used as it was not a formal/final report. 6. You did not lose $1500 as you still would have needed to have the soil test performed regardless since you did not have a final/ formal report. The communication stopped due to you not paying on the invoice to have the engineer create your septic design. Once we would have seen your payment processed, we would have reached out and gave you an update.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I just want this done with. Reread the text messages- all of it. Permit for 6 bedroom dwelling was asked at least 2 times. You left a message saying you will refund me. PLEASE DO! I did not receive refund and I do not have a useable septic permit as of yet. Maybe you are not trying to milk me for money but this has been quite costly and time consuming for me the land owner.(and stressful)Business response

There is nothing that is able to be refunded. The soil test fee of $1500 that you paid was to cover the services that have already been provided. We can send copies again of the soil test and permit to you. You can take those documents and use them to continue your install with someone else.Initial Complaint
