Spartan Paving installed a new driveway on April 25th of 2021. During the install, I made several comments to the installation group that they had not compacted the area where the new asphalt was being installed. The installer stated the what he had done was appropriate for my driveway. Immediately after the install, I noticed cracking and mire marks in the asphalt from the machinery used during install. I contacted the installer and the owner had them come back out and put another layer of asphalt on the cracking areas. I was still very concerned about the quality of the work. The installer stated that I had to seal the driveway within three months of install to keep the drive in proper shape and appearance. I did as was recommended, even using their contractor to install. I began noticing heavy cracks in my asphalt in December of last year and called the installer. He stated he was in the hospital at the time but he would get with the owner (David) and come out to take a look to see if they could do anything. I contacted him again in January and was told the same thing again. I have attempted to contact the installer, the owner and even sent messages through the companies website. There has been no reply from the company and my drive way now has multiple cracks that extend the width of the drive in many places and some areas on the edges are starting to crack and break off. All of this should be warrantied but the company will not reply back. I need the company to come back out and remove and repack the locations of bad asphalt and reseal those areas so there is no clear distinction on the new areas versus the old area. I need a reliable number to reach someone at the office in the future as my drive has not had the proper warranty work and if not worked on soon, it will be in the same condition as it was before I had the old one removed and this one installed.
